6 Year Old Trapped in a Balloon. Boy Found Alive - Hiding at Home!

Wow. The dad is a real sweetheart. Mom and dad both enjoy making fun of people, don't they?

That clip was awful. If he spoke to me like that I would have popped him one. Hyper is an understatement for his reaction! Wow. Thats the first time I have watched any of the wife swap clips.

I didn't see any place for the boy to hide, the unit was sealed to hold the gas. It didn't have a basket hanging like the hot air units that carry people.

The "other woman" in Wife Swap actually defended the family. While she says, Richard Heene is a jerk....she believes this wasn't a hoax.

She also says Dad is a diabetic and has emotional outbursts due to his meds. ???

Seems to me that the family is totally disrespectful to others which makes me conclude that they are also disrespectful to each other. I'm sure this wasn't the first time that Falcon saw his father get angry. I'd think he'd be immune to it. So why choose this one moment to go hide for 4 hours??

Now if his dad had an outburst that was unusual and scared the child, I could see a child hide. However, the behaviors of these family members are horrible and outbursts probably occur daily which would not make a child hide for 4 hours if he was used to dad yelling and screaming all the time. The kids themselves seem like rotten eggs and just like Willy Wonka says,

"Who's to blame? The mother and the father!"

There is another clip, number 4 I think, where he gets so agry and throws milk to the "wife" the production had to talk to him,

Just saw on the Today show that the father came out early this morning and told the media that he was going to be making a big announcement later on today (as his wife was recording him talking to the media)...I can only imagine what the announcement is going to be and I wonder if they stayed up all night planning it. :rolleyes1

Just watched that "news conference" All he did was come out and tell everyone to put their questions in a box and he would review them and answer them.

One thing that has been bothering me is this kid has a lot of energy. How did he last 5 hours without being able to run around. My son is 5 and he wouldn't last an hour before he would get bored and want to run around.

I'm not a parent but if I were & my child was missing, not only would I encourage the authorities to look everywhere in & around my house, I would be looking too, over & over in every nook & cranny, even where it's "impossible" for them to go. I would never say that they couldn't be here or there. Gee, when I loose an inanimate object I look around in places I wouldn't expect it to be & sometimes that's where I find it.

Looks like he needs time to prepare answers to the questions he's willing to answer.

Oh you've got to be kidding me???? This was his "big announcement" as he called it this morning??? This guy is too much.:rotfl2:

Why is the media still giving this whackadoo and his whackadoo wife attention?

He throws it all over her. In her hair and everything.

He's extremely impulsive, immature, rude, mouthy, vulgar, judgemental...

Not a nice person at all.

wow! the dad is a whackjob and a loose cannon...horrible, horrible man!! Now they are producing three more! Nice!

at this point, I do not care if it was a hoax or not - these peoples' 15 minutes of fame should have been up a loooonnnggg time ago!

gonna stop following it, but I hope they come up with enough evidence to charge them for the rescue effort.

I've often wondered if they drugged him so he would stay put...a little benadryl would do the trick...or maybe more than a little.

His children are gonna be just like him too. They cuss, say rude things, insult people and are all around nasty little demon spawn. It's just a terrible pathetic and sad situation.

The thought crossed my mind. A six year old who doesn't get punished isn't going to be THAT scared of his father. And even if he were, it's hard to imagine him sitting still for five solid hours. That's insane. Even a well disciplined, non-hyper child would have difficulty pulling that off at such a tender age.

Something isn't making sense here. I doubt we'll ever know what really happened.
