Talk to me about your experiences on a 6 night Western Carribean cruise (Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Castaway) on the Fantasy. We have only sailed Alaska on the Wonder and settled on this cruise for next summer bc of timing, price and room availability.
-Will both Frozen and Aladdin play on a 6 night?
-What excursion should we choose in Grand Cayman to get away from crowds?
-What is not to be missed on Castaway?
-Any beaches/ beach clubs to avoid?
-We had great success and savings using private vendors in Alaska for excursions, is it safe and dependable to do this in the Caribbean?

We are two adults and a 10 year old and 8 year old. We do not drink, so thats not important to us and we prefer to avoid barlike atmospheres. We are very active, but not into zip lining.

Cozumel: we love Chankanaab Beach Cozumel. We've been there twice. It's easy to book on your own. Grab a cab and go - plenty of cabs to get you back to the ship as well. First time we did the Royal Dolphin Swim and loved it. Second time we did a swim with a sea lion. Chankanaab is a great place to spend the day. After your encounter (and included with the entrance fee) is a sea lion show, a pool, great beach with chairs/huts/hammocks, and snorkeling. A casual lunch or a buffet lunch is available. You don't have to do any of the dolphin/sea lion encounters. You can just go to the beach and still use all the amenities mentioned above and see the sea lion show. It's really a great place to spend a full day. We've been twice and still haven't explored it all. https://www.dolphindiscovery.com/cozumel/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=mybusiness

We've also gone to Paradise Beach twice. LOVE their pool. Great beach and food. Not very crowded. Again we just took a taxi there and back.

One of favorite excursions ever was the Sea turtle release. It was an amazing day. At the time we booked through Royal Carib but it looks like you can now book directly. I highly recommend it. (May only be offered certain times of year.)

Castaway Cay: I wouldn't book anything. Once we booked the Stingray Excursion and it definitely was not worth it! If you want to do a Stingray excursion, Grand Cayman would be the place to do to. We've done an island tour and gone to 7 Mile Beach on Grand Cayman.

We've always booked our own excursions (many in the Caribbean) and never had any issues. Allow enjoy time to get back to the ship and you'll be okay.
