Congrats on your engagement! How exciting! I'm looking forward to more reviews.

I can't wait to hear all about Teppan Edo! We are trying this one in December, it's the one that I am most looking forward to.

Can't wait to hear more, thanks for writing the reviews! And I  love the pictures, especially the Taco Bell, the ham sandwich, and the "little chef", that's being a thorough reviewer! This is going to be a fun read. :goodvibes

Great start, looking forward to more.

Excellent:thumbsup2

Yay, looking forward to the rest!!

Thanks! :thumbsup2

I'm in! Waiting for more!

Awesome start! Can't wait for the rest!!!:flower3:

Thanks, you guys!!! :goodvibes

Great pics!! It's good to be accurate and include the ham sandwich. That's surprising about the cornbread. I've eaten at WCC twice before, and both times the cornbread was moist and fabulous. You may have just had a bad batch.

Huh, that's weird. It was our general consensus that it was dry. Yeah, we probably did just get a bad batch. We didn't get another basket because we didn't like it too much, so maybe it would've been different had we gotten another basket.

We loved it, and we sat with some awesome people! :lovestruc

We decided to go here as a dinner for just the two of us.

Again, we got a

We got personalized menus. We think they're thanks to our TA. Not sure. We didn't order them.

We got bread

and oil and balsamic vinegar

The bread was good, but I didn't like the balsamic vinegar in the oil. Nic did, though. It was just a little too much for me.

I got the chicken, but with mashed potatoes.

The chicken was good, but nothing particularly special. I really liked the potatoes, though. Good, creamy, and perfectly seasoned.

Nic got the blackened catfish.

He says the catfish was really good. I tried a bite, and, although I'm really not a fish person, I did think it tasted good. He didn't like the grits, but he'd never had grits before. I personally thought they were good.

Being parents who switch eating and watching Jacques, we learned to eat FAST.

That was taken less than 7 minutes after they put our plates in front of us. :rotfl:

Since it was our anniversary, we got a complimentary Chocolate Wave.

Now, we didn't know the cherries were brandied (having not read the description). Nic doesn't like cherries very much, but I do, so I took one, and WOW. That was a shocker. :lmao: So, I told him to try it, and he's like "Not with that face!" but he did end up eating the other two. Other than that, I LOVED the Chocolate Wave. Only thing was that I didn't think about it, and took a big bite and burned my tounge a little. The outside was good, but the inside melted chocolate was the best!

Overall, we liked it.

Our total cost was $49.38, with a $8.34 tip (I love the suggested tip thing. It's nice. I do less math!)

Great reviews! Keep 'em coming!

We are celebrating our anniversary at CR too. I can't wait! I'm still debating between the catfish and the mahi mahi. I've never had grits so I don't know if I'll like them or not, but they sound delicious!

Great reviews!

I just have one question, though-- do you know if there's alcohol inside the chocolate wave? I know that the cherries have, but if you ask for it without cherries, will it be free of alcohol? Just curious, as I want to know about the desserts here and this is one of the deciding factors.

 Great Reviews so far!!!

Looking forward to more and I love your progressive pictures!

Excellent. :thumbsup2

Ps.-- Anytime where math is done FOR me, I am happy as well. :rotfl:

Lookng good! popcorn:: Wish I was there now!

Great review of the Coral Reef. I think I'm going to try the catfish.

I'm not sure, honestly. She didn't say anything about it when she was explaining it. But, when I looked up the recipe (which is just the recipe that you can use to make it at home, so it may not be the same one they use at the restaurant), it looks like it does. The ingredients were:

INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup butter
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
4 eggs
4 egg yolks
1 1/2 teaspoons Grand Marnier

For the white-chocolate truffle:
6 ounces white chocolate
3 tablespoons heavy cream
3 tablespoons softened butter
2 tablespoons Grand Marnier

The chocolate wave is my favorite dessert in WDW, that is when accompanied by a glass of Rosa Regale.........

Loved your review. We are eating at Coral Reef for our 15th anniversary this upcoming trip. Happy anniversary to you both. Can't wait to see your other reviews.:thumbsup2

I don't drink, so I'll take your word on the RR, but I did LOVE the Chocolate Wave. Delicious! :lovestruc

Thank you! I see you're staying at POR. We did a carriage ride there before dinner at Coral Reef. In fact, I just posted that part of my TR! :rotfl:

Okay, I'm sorry, I barely took any pictures, but...

I got a Chicken Ceaser Salad and an Orange Fanta. The boys got the Hot Italian Style Sandwich and Chips. Dad got a coke, Nic got water.

The Ceaser Salads, okay. I'm a HUGE ceaser salad girl. I eat it all the time. Now, the salad itself was good. Not the best by any means (that award goes to The Melting Pot. OHMYGOD. That is by far THE BEST caeser salad in the whole freaking world), but good. The chicken on the other hand. YUCK!:scared: Cheap crappy chicken. Totally gross. This was the same with all the counter services that we ate at.

The boys said the sandwich was pretty good. I didn't try it, myself. They said it looked really heavy, but it was definitely not.
