What's up with the 6-day West Coast itinerary on July 17? The rates for that itinerary are considerably less, according to allseas. The dates fit our needs the best. It sails on a Sunday instead of a Saturday, I wonder what's up with that?
the ship is staying in dock Saturday night - for some celebration (assuming onboard) for Disneyland's 50th anniversary - guessing it'll some kind of high falutin' VIP thing.
I've noticed that none of the other TA's have the July 17th sail date. Even the DCL website doesn't have it. It seems to be only listed on the All Seas travel site. Is this a for real cruise?
When talking to my TA, he said this was a press event and the ship would be leaving on Sunday. You will lose one day at sea. Also only invited guest and press will be allowed on the ship on Saturday.
I looked at the prices and they seemed very high also. It was more than we are paying for a 7 night West Coast. We are paying $4800 for cat. 11 for 2 adults, 2 kids. Hopefully less if they are able to transfer our ressie and we get the 10% off and $200 credit.
