This was the second time we'd been there, and we all really, really liked it.
Not one thing to complain about. They have plenty of beach space, plenty of shade, lots of different things to do....and the food was really good, with a lot of choices.
I generally like to snorkel everywhere I go, but the snorkeling isn't all that great in the Mexican Riviera, so for my money, Las Caletas is a great place to be to still get in the water, but also have a lot of other things to do.

They even make the trip over and back on the boat a lot of fun. It isn't just a boring ride...it's part of the excursion!

In Mazatlan, my daughter and son in law rode with Randi's Happy Horses and loved it.
The rest of us did the Mazatlan Beach Escape, and as far as anything else much to do in Maz, I think this was a really good choice. The last time we were in Mazatlan, we walked out of the terminal and hired a taxi van to take us on a tour, and we really enjoyed that, too. Also much cheaper than an excursion. We saw the cliff divers, and other points of interest. Then he took us into Old Town to see their market and tour a beautiful old church. He stayed with us the whole time, and we felt very safe. The drivers of the tour vans in port are licensed and have an actual company, not someone off the street who bought a van.

I think I've heard the best reviews of the dolphin excursions in Cabo.

After the yuckky wet pictures, thought I'd post one of us "cleaned up". This is Jared and I on semi-formal night. I still don't have any makeup on, but at least am dry. I don't wear makeup at home, and even though I brought it with me, I never did wear any on the cruise either. Too much of a bother.

HAVING A BLAST!!

I've traveled with each of the 2 daughters, but this was a first for Jared and I. We got along great, no problems at all. And it was a BLAST.
