I ordered both just incase DD doesn't like the new 2011 prints when they come out soon. We made a huge deal that she can pick out a new backpack for starting kindergarten since her preschool one is too small (they want oversized bags for snow pants, etc), but this deal is great and I know if we hate the new prints I'll be kicking myself!

Thanks so much for posting this! I promised my DD11 a new backpack for next year & she loves the blue print. I'm hoping it's big enough for her but she's pretty petite so hopefully it will work out. If not, we are close to a Sears for a return.

Just a heads up it's Lands' End you can return to Sears for. Not L.L. Bean, since they are similar

The 2011 colors are now on LL's website. Of course there is a pink flowered print that is really cute. Oh well, DD will be using this for a long time so I guess I will use some of my Bean visa rewards for the new color that is full price.
