6/11/09 3 Night Wonder Trip Report-with 500+ Photos!!!

I've just finished reading this trip report and wanted to say thanks for taking the time to compile it and answer everyone's questions. I agree with the others who said you made a three-day cruise seem so much longer... we are considering a cruise for the first time next winter and your report is really making me think it's the right choice for us...

Thanks so much for these great trip reports! I just finished two of your cruise reports and they were so good! You have a beautiful family and all know how to have a blast (even as simple as doing the cartwheels).

My DH and I did the Disney cruise back when it was the Big Red Boat 18 years ago....we are doing our first family one with kids (15, 12, 4) in November...looks like it will be a blast!

If you are planning any last minute cruises in the near future lol....Nov 29th is a good date LMAO. I think they should hire you and your family as the "cruise director"!

I really enjoyed your trip report! It makes the three night cruise seem a lot less short than it really is.

I do have to half-disagree with you on the veranda. Although I don't think it would be worth the money on a 3/4 night cruise, for a seven night cruise it is absolutely worth the cost!

Ok I see you are in Dunedin...Palm Harbor here. So this magnet paper stuff is at Office Depot (Say Nebraska And 19?). We are going on our very first cruise with our 3 year old in May 2010 and want to make it as special as possible. Great TR BTW

Office Depot is exactly where I got the magnet paper. I got mine at the one at Enterprise and 19. I have only been in the one at Nebraska a couple of times, and I can never find anything in there. And, I found out the hard way that it closes earlier than the one at Enterprise. But, I think they would have the magnet paper there, too.

Just found this today and spent way too much timereading it (and getting nothing done! ) I read yours from last year and loved it and this one didn't disappoint either. Now if I can only get my DH to actually go on one!

Your trip report caught my eye because we were on the same cruise with you. I have loved reading through it and hearing about your family fun while remembering all the fun we had, too. It is nice to think back to warm sunny skies while our part of Texas has been in the midst of an unusually cold spell (high temps in the teens !!! -- this is Texas, folks).

You happened to catch a few shots of my DH and two of my DSs in the background at the crab races. We had "Junior" - crab #4 that hardly moved at all.

I hope it won't disappoint your DDs to hear that they also gave the Bolt Easter tattoos to my boys for finishing dead last.
