After making my 6:00 reservation for LeCellier I remembered reading somewhere that you want to try and be seated by 5:45 to avoid longer wait times. I'm wondering now if I should call back and try to move this back to 5:30 or 5:45. It's for a Wednesday nite in October ... think that 15 min will matter much???

If it is for a WED in October it must be the 5th, Just made mine too  Ours is for 5:40 I hope that works OK for us. I wanted it a little earlier but that one was at 4:20. If we go back for naps we won't make that. By the way are you on dinning plan and did the cm try to tell you it was 2 credits??? Mine did and I tried to correct her and then I just said nevermind just book it. I checked and the disneydinning sight still lists it as 1.

Yes ... ours is for WED 10/5. I called Disney Dining last nite to ask about 1 or 2 TS and was told last nite that it is still 1. I'm going to keep it reserved now and wait until closer to when we go. If they change it to 2 I will most likely cancel. We want to try this restaurant but not bad enough to count it as 2 TS. Hopefully we will see you there.

All that was left by 7:05 this morning was 5:30 on the 5th, so I took that. Last year we called the morning of, for our ps's. This is crazy this yr.

I'd keep what you got cause it's prob sold out by now.

Hmmm, makes you wonder who is booking these things LOL I was placed in the hold line at 7:13 this morning and got through right before 8am and got a 6pm on the 5th. She also told me they had a 5:30, but I chose the 6 and figured I'd just get there a bit early for seating. Maybe someone cancelled between the times that you got through till I got through?

I think it makes a big diff if you have more than 4 in your party. Limited seating choices.

We had a 6pm PS at Le Cellier for 8 people, and it wasn't much of a problem at all. Actually 5 of the people in our group got there about 10 minutes early and checked in. When the remaining 3 finally got there, we were taken right to our table (all together at 1 table). We didn't have any problem with getting our food in a timely manner (of course we all had appetizers and those YUMMY pretzel bread sticks). Regardless, it's worth the wait. :teeth:

We got through about 7:21 this morning with DH and I tag teaming tossing the phone to one another while we got ready for work. We were offered 5:30 and 6:20 on Oct. 5. Dh took 6:20, although I'd've rather had the 5:30. We'll be snacking around the F&W Festival for lunch that day. The CM didn't say anything about the credits to us, just asked what dining plan we were under.

I got through and booked a 7:00 p.m. res for 3 people. Do you think that's going to be too late to see illuminations?? I figured I wanted to try some of the food at the food & wine pavillions so I wouldn't be too hungry earlier.

We had a 6pm ADR for Le Cellier last week. We checked in around 5:40 and were seated within 10 minutes. When we left a little after 7 there were people waiting but it didn't look like a horribly long wait (of course it had been raining throughout the afternoon so that might have effected things).

meaballsmom,
What time is Illuminations when you are going? If it is at 9pm, then I think a 7pm seating would be fine. You might want to arrive a bit earlier to check in so that you can be seated as early as possible.

Hope everyone enjoys their meals - we had an amazing meal at Le Cellier!

Just called and got 5:30pm for a party of 6.... 2 tables though... We are hoping we can all sit together once we arrive. I am confident it will.... I've never tried Le Cellier and I am very excited.!!

We ate at Le Cellier last week, we were late 20 minutes, for our 7pm reservation, but they still seated us within 5 minutes. Service was great, we told her we were on the dining plan and she immediately suggested the surf and turf. Dont do it, yes it is included with your plan, but the lobster was tough, and the "steak" was ugh! Luckily I had ordered the regular Filet and was able to share with my DH. The pretzel breads were to die for, as well as the cheese soup. DH ordered the sampler which was v.good too. Maple creme brulle was delish!

I hear alot of people talking about the brulle at all different resturants. Can some please explain what this dish is? I've seen pictures and it doesn't look fancy, so I'm gathering it must be the taste that everyone likes.

I hit the snooze one to many times this morning and got a late start (6:09 to be exact)...took me 49 minutes to get my 2 ppl 7:30 ps for Le Cellier, but I know it will be worth it! That was my longest wait time yet!

Creme brulee is a french inspired dessert that is a dense custard topped with sugar that is then "torched" to give it a crispy top. Le Cellier's creme brulee is flavored with maple. Most others are without additional flavoring (vanilla).

I just called at 5:50pm and when I made ADR for LeCellier for October 5th I first told her for the evening meal and she then told me she had any time available between 4pm and 8pm, so I picked 7:10pm. We are a party of 3, staying onsite. She didn't ask about a dining plan, previous days I had been asked. And yes, the creme brulle is wonderful at LeCellier, but my favorite is the chocolate at Fulton's.

Any table for 4 or less probably.
