Hi!
We are coming to Florida to do Disney and Universal May 3-May 11th.
Turns out we are planning to go to AK on May 4th and MK on May 5th and MGM on May 6th and Seaworld on May7th then on to Universal.
The problem is...I just realized that at the MK on May 5th they are starting their 50th anniversary celebration and they are closing Epcot at 3pm that day (crowds will have to go somewhere?!)
The question is....would you change days to go to which parks?
We are pretty much locked into May 4,5,6 & 7 to do Disney and Seaworld.

Here's the parks we had planned
Wed. May 4th Animal Kingdom
Thurs. May 5th Magic Kingdom
Friday May 6th MGM
Saturday May 7th Seaworld

Would anyone change these park plans around because of the 50th anniversary or any other reason? :confused3

Thanks for any input!
We are afraid this might be a bad week with the celebrations going on, but we are already locked in.

Suzy

Hello,
We are going to be there from 5/2 to 5/11. The only thing I might change is the 5th maybe you might want to go to MGM and on the 6 go to MK.
We are staying late on the 4th and having a breakfast at CP on the 5th at 8 a.m., then we are only staying til 3 or so.
I do think that with Epcot closing at 3 on the 5th MK will be very, very busy but I'm not sure of crowd size and how managable it will be.

The countdown continues :hourglass

15 days until we're at the world :jumping1:

Happy Dance :dancer: :disrocks:

We will also be there at this time... planning MK and SeaWorld... planned before the Celebration was announced!

Here is the scoop...

Are you staying onsite???
MK is EMH evening on Wed.4th... Could take advantage of that if you are onsite...
MK will be hosting the grand opening of the Celebration on May 5th
Friday at MK I would imagine will be very busy, as it is a Friday.

Also, as far as SeaWorld... You have it down for that following Saturday. This will be the second Weekend of their big Viva-La-Musica Latin Music Culture festival.

All of these special events are really playing havok with our plans!!!!!

We are lucky enough to be arriving earlier than you will, so here are our plans...

Sunday - free day (unless we make a short visit to SeaWorld just to check it out, as we have passes. Viva-La-Musica will be going on...
Monday - Sea World, should be an excellent day for SeaWorld???
Tuesday - Magic Kingdom, should be the slowest day, by far!
Wednesday - Magic Kingdom, take slower pace, his less crowded attractions
Thursday - free day, most of Disney should be packed
Friday - Discovery Cove, swimming with Dolphins, finale to our trip

Thanks for the heads up on the festival at Seaworld. EEks...I guess we can do

MGM Sat. May 7th
Seaworld Friday May 6th
MK then AK Thurs. May 5th
AK then MK Wed. May 4th

Oh boy...this is complicated. We are not staying on site for the EMH for Wednesday. So maybe we steer clear of MK on the Wed until later in the day. I think we will change Seaworld from Sat. to Friday for sure.

Do people stay at the parks long after they have their EMH? So if we hit MK later that day? boy...the lines will probably be so long. That is the park we wanted to hit first for the kids.

Thanks for the info and tips!
