We're only spending one day at MGM and I know my mom(66) will love the atmosphere at 50s PTC... not to mention the fried chicken. But we also want to do a Fantasmic dinner pkg, so that means the only option is to eat lunch at 50s PTC.

Would we need a PS for lunch in mid December (12th)? Or could we walk right in and get seated?

You will absolutely need reservations! We were there in Dec and June. Both times they were barely handling the people with reservations without too much of a wait. We waited about 10 minutes in a very crowded lounge waiting to be seated. I heard one person stop by without reservations and they were told they would have to come back several hours later.

You never know how crowded it can be. You should just make a PS that morning to be on the safe side. We eat here EVERY trip and always make a PS for lunch or dinner. It's usually pretty packed.

We always make a PS for there for lunch because its always busy no matter what time of day we have wandered by. So yes defiantly make PS for PTC.

Most of the FDP reservations are on the early side. I'm not sure you're going to enjoy your dinner just a few hours after your lunch.

What time are FDP dinner reservations typically for a 7pm Fantasmic?
