50s Primetime

We ate there last week for the second time and, overall, I just don't like the food. DD's steak and my pork were terrible. Other DD's chicken was pretty good - I ended up eating most of it. If I was to eat here again, I would get the fried chicken. I had the pot roast last time - it was ok but the chicken was better. Desserts are ok but we were stuffed because DDs had shakes and I had a smoothie (which are included on DDP). Our server was fine - did the antics but didn't go overboard. She actually spoon feed DD14 her vegetables - now that was pretty funny! The people next to us were hysterical - one of the middle aged women ended up standing in the corner because their server said she was too bossy. The woman played along well so it was really funny.

We've been there 3 times and have seemed to always get the quiet waitperson. Not sure why, but it seemed that the other waitstaff in the room were much more outgoing and funnier than our's. Regardless, it's always been a good time and we always go back!

We went for the 1st time in '09 & loved it. Younger 2 DDs were kinda worried about antics but really wanted to go there. Our "cousin" must have picked up on that because he chose to harass our oldest DD, who took it all in stride. He asked who was the laziest person in our family. We all pointed at her so he made her "work". She had to set the table & gather up all the dirty dishes as we finished. When we told him we were from Indiana (because he asked), he announced to everyone in the room that our DD was the laziest person in all of Indiana. He told our youngest DD that she was his favorite & could break all the rules, which she totally loved. The kid at the next table was being a total brat & our server didn't have any antics for them. I thought that was kinda funny.
