It's Disney. You're ALWAYS paying for the atmosphere.

I always enjoy my meal at Primetime. I love the meatloaf and the fried chicken. For dessert I love the brownie sundae. The atmosphere depends on who you get for your cousin or auntie. I've been lucky in that I always seem to get a good one.

When I go there for lunch I order the Fish Sandwich and if I go there for dinner I get the Meat Loaf. As for dessert I like to order their Strawberry Ice Cream Sundae.

We try and eat there every other trip. We have always enjoyed the food, pot roast, fried chicken, and meatloaf. :lovestruc
The atmosphere is fun, I always get a chuckle from the staff, I put my elbows on the table, whine about eating my veggies, makes it more fun for me.
I have gotten the smores and enjoyed them as well as some other things, I think they were all yummy. ;)
We ate a sci-fi last trip and found it was not for us, glad we tried it but won't go back. I know some people that love it so to each their own. :)
ENJOY!

50's PT is one of our must dos every trip!! :thumbsup2 We LOVE getting the pot roast with fries instead of mashed potatoes and then extra gravy for the fries... YUMMY! :goodvibes
For Dessert... I must say we love the Smore! Fantabulous!

just thinking of the fried chicken from 50's makes my mouth water!
the pb & j shake was okay, but the smores was definitely creative and delicious!
we can't wait to go back!

I love this restaurant! The food has always been great--I've had the meatloaf and pot roast (and a few other things but that was so long ago, they no longer have it on the menu)--I've also had the shrimp cocktail. We also love the s'mores and the sundae for dessert! We have had some great waitpeople and some who were low key--both were ok! I think you'll have fun!

Another vote for S'mores. They were fun.

Dad's Brownie Sundae!!! A big warm brownie, topped with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, caramel corn & whipped cream. YUM!!!!

Two younger DDs & I love their fried chicken while my oldest DD loves the meatloaf & DH loves the pot roast. It's good comfort food in a fun atmosphere. We tried Sci Fi once and none of us liked it. On the other hand, we all love 50s!

Love the fish sandwich and the s'mores! I also had the PB & J shake when I was there too! It was so much fun. We had a small table with our own TV and "counter".

We like 50's Prime Time over Sci-Fi just because we like the food much better, but we do like the atmosphere at Sci-Fi too. This past March was the last time we ate at 50's and I had the fried chicken which was awesome, I did have the pot roast once and that was good too but I think I like the fried chicken better. For desert I had the S'mores and they were amazing (I'm a huge S'mores fan to begin with). We plan on returning here for our May trip and I already know what I am going to have :goodvibes

We always have great service here and a good meal. S'mores for dessert for sure! :thumbsup2

We usually stop in for lunch. Last time (May) I had the chicken pot-pie which was pretty good. My girlfriend and I split a strawberry shake and the s'mores for dessert. Great way to end the meal. :thumbsup2

I was looking at the menu for 50's and didn't see a lot of entrees on the menu, is this just a sample or is there more to choose from?

The atmosphere is kind of a tie between Sci-Fi and 50's Prime Time. Sci-Fi has the cool atmosphere and 50's Prime Time has the funny haha atmosphere.

In terms of food: 50's Prime Time wins easily.

We have eaten at both many times. The kids love the atmosphere at Sci-Fi and ask to eat there every vacation (we actually do about every other trip). But the food is much better in my opinion at 50's. I have a special place in my heart for 50's b/c hubby and I ate there on our honeymoon and giggled our way thru dinner as our "Mom" was hilarious. My usually VERY shy husband played right along! Love the pot roast and their shakes are delicious (chocolate shake...yummmmmm)!

Me and my wife LOVE 50's PT. Roast is excellant! And I love hot caramel sundae for dessert. We went there on our 4th July trip this year and have resvervations for ourFeb. 2011 trip.
