I need my memory jogged...been a couple of years. When on the Disney Dining Plan, are milkshakes included as your beverage or can you use a snack credit to cover them?

Most reports indicate that you can get the milkshake as your drink at 50PT. Some venues will also let you order the milk shake as the dessert part of your TS meal. You cannot use a snack credit to get a milkshake at a TS location or lounge.

This has been our experience at both 50s PT and Sci Fi. Either you can order your milkshake as a drink and get dessert, or get a soda and have the milkshake as dessert. You also could pay OOP for it if you want a soda and have another dessert in mind.

Unfortunately, when using a child's credit, they cannot get a milkshake as their drink. The usual advice is that for an adult in the group to order a milkshake as their drink and as their dessert (so two milkshakes) (when allowed) and give one to the child. Otherwise, you have to pay OOP for the milkshake for the child.
Does any one know if you can use a deluxe dining an entitlement for lunch at 50s Prime Time?? It looks as though it can only be used for dinner, on the WDW website but when I booked my lunch reservation, my itinerary shows my reservation is eligible for DxDP entitlements!!??
