If I say we are intending to share will they bring it out on 2 plates? For example the fried chicken at 50's Prime Time, can I order all white meat and then share with Mom? I will only eat 1 chicken breast or 2 wings. I think it comes with 4 pieces and that is waaaay too many for me.

you may have to pay a fee for sharing.. not all restaurants will require that however. usually the better TS ones( no idea if 50s is considered upscale enough, never eaten there)

ask. worse they can do is say no, right?

DBF and I shared the spaghetti and "meatballs" for lunch when we went in December. They brought out two plates and we split it ourselves. There was no fee, although I was teased for sharing the peanut butter and jelly milkshake with him!

DBF and I almost always share a meal when we eat at Disney. That way we can split an appetizer, entree, and dessert without wasting food, saving money, and getting to try a little bit of everything. Sometimes you'll get a waiter with an "attitude" who is obviously unhappy you are splitting but other then that, we've never had a single problem!

My husband and I split the chicken dinner here as it's way too much food. Even split, we don't finish it.

I don't know about the all white meat request though.

I got the sampler plate (pot roast, meatloaf, AND fried chicken) and it was an absurd amount of food! As far as portion sizes go, it was definitely splittable.
