50s Prime Time Cafe

We went to Prime Time for lunch thinking it would be a lot of fun. The food was good, and the theme was cool. But it was cramped, loud, and was not relaxing. Our server didn't interact with us, but that was actually a plus, since there was enough noise everywhere else. We heard a server from another table making rude comments about what some people at the next table were eating. They had one thin person and one "pooh size" person sharing one fried chicken lunch, and he was mocking the pooh size person. I could see they were very embarrased. I was so glad he wasn't our server since I am not exactly tinkerbell myself, LOL. Who needs that hassle on vacation? Maybe that server is no longer there. We LOVED Cindy's Castle for lunch, though!!

This place is so cute. I have been two times quite a few years ago. Last time we went my DH didn't think he would like it here. Thankfully he has changed his mind and we are going there when we go down in April.
Last time I went I was with my cousin and our server was great. After dinner she said " so what are you girls going to do after dinner?" We said we were going over to the Indiana Jones show and she started yelling at us(sorta) " I told you girl's to stay away from those Jones boys... when will you listen"... etc... etc...
Soooo cute.
We have had great experiences here and I can't wait for my husband to try it out.

We were just talking about PTC last night and it's been almost 3 yrs since we were there the last time. It is a must do for us. Last trip we had the extended family with us. DS laughed when the hostess told DNi and DD to set the table (he had ot the last time because DD was too little). Well DS got in trouble and had to set the table.
Our server (can't remember his name, can't believe I forgot) was amazing. DS was in toruble the entire meal. My mom was give a kids menu since she kept putting her elbows on the table.
However our first trip we had a young "cousin" who wasn't into it. The server next to us realized this and started up with us. He was a balst.

We really enjoyed 50s Prime Time. Our server was great. She kept yelling at DH to "take of his hat, get his elbows off the table, set the table" etc. My DMIL didn't like the greenbeans, she thought they were too rubbery. The server kept telling her to eat them. I told DMIL to hid them under her napkin, which she did. When the server came back, she found the greenbeans and made the whole section make airplane noises while she fed a forkfull of greenbeans to DMIL. It was great! I know that the server interaction makes all the difference for your dining experience. We had doneWhispering Canyon before and had great servers. We hyped it up to DMIL and went for lunch on our last day. Our server didn't interact with us while other servers around us did. Well, our server didn't that great of a tip either.

My family and I love the 50's PrimeTime Cafe!! We go to eat here everytime we visit MGM. In December we ate lunch here and our server was "Cousin Brenda" What a riot! She kept reprimanding my husband for putting his elbows on the table. After the third time, she made him get up from the table and in front of the entire restaurant, hold a sugar packet up on the wall with his nose!! On the count of three the whole section of the restaurant we were in shook their finger at him and shouted "Keep your elbows off the Table!!" My girls and I were laughing so hard! This place is so much fun, you definately have to try it!!

Have fun! We will be going back second weekend in February!!

We love the PTC. The last time we were there I didn't eat my green beans (simply because I don't like them) and our server put them on the fork, and started making airplane noises to try and get me to eat them. Needless to say, it didn't work, but it was still lots of fun-and I sitll got dessert!
