50's Prime Time Cafe Dinner Only?

I wanted to go to 50's PTC for lunch on November 27th but it is saying that the whole week is dinner only...is this something new they are going to start doing?

I've been trying to make a lunch ressie for the 26th myself & running into the same problem. Earliest that I can book is 3:45, which won't work for us. As of right now, you can only make a lunch reservation up to Nov 23.

If anyone finds when Disney is opening up for earlier reservations, please post back here.

I followed up today with a phone call.

I didn't get any specific information as to why lunch is not showing as available, I was told that it was deliberate, not some sort of IT oversight. The way I read between the lines was that changes were afoot, at least for the timeframe in question (Thanksgiving - ?). They might be as simple as a menu change or as involved as a package dining experience coming.

We have a very busy Day 1 at WDW for Tuesday June 20, plan is to do HS at Rope drop and we have Fast Passes at Epcot starting w a 12:50- 1:50pm time slot. Question is we are hoping to have lunch at HS 50s Prime Time cafe around 11:30am , but not sure we want to be locked into a reservation and lose possibly $40 for our 4 person reservation, what are the chances we can just walk in without a wait around 11:30 on June 21 ?
