50's Hairstyles?? Any pictures??

I have a question for you all! My DD is going to be a 50's girl for halloween but she does not know what to do with her hair? Do you have any pictures I can go by? She had Medium hair that is a few inches above her shoulders. Should she just curl it, or curl it and put it in a pony tail, or as she says something more 50's??

my daughter and I both were 50`s girls 2 years ago and while her hair was shoulder length and couldnt go up in a pony tail she wore it straight back with a thick material headband. I used one of those ponytail extensions for my hair and kinda put my existing hair up and clipped the fake hair on top. Both of us looked like we could rollerskate out of the burger joint they show in 50`s movies. LOL

If her hair is straight, a pageboy is very classic 50's. Use a curling iron to firmly curl the ends under, part it deep on the side, then sweep the bangs to the other side and pin them with a barrette right over the temple. This one does not require hassling with pin-curls unless she has bangs that you want to pin-curl.
