How are people supposed to pay for this! I mean, you'd have to create lots of mules or used all the money you have saved to get it

Well playing VMK as long as i have I have come to expect that at any moment they will spring, "exclusive" weekend only items or costumes for lots of money and with frontierland opening i decided that I should save up my credits. I have a few mules and each have collected near 2000 credits each and my main has gotten 3000 and i've only been saving a month or so! It really isn't that hard to do! Play fireworks a lot, go to all NPC's, play jungle cruise, play HOST games that give away credits so on so forth! Do this every day and you will be gifting all your friends! :)

Also it's an option! You don't have to get everyone a gift! Especially if you don't want to waste credits!

To some, 500 credits is a lot, to others 500 credits is pocket money. To mbike, 500 credits are nothing more than finding a penny on the road. I, myself, find it difficult to save up 500 credits. Mbike, well, he has well over 22,000 credits as of right now. He buys furniture and plays a lot of pirates. He can buy 44 people gifts. Crazy!

Yes he can.I only have 200 credits to my name LOL.I'm a known shopper and trader. You won't ever see me with the same thing twice.Anyway,mousse.. I'd accept a...........giftor two.LOL

Well,500 is difficult for me.

I have been losing HOST games. You get 100 credits just for generator spinning.

Remember NPC credit runs. They may be annoying but you get 10 0 credits. You do this once every 12 hours!

If I can get on early enough in the morning I will play a few rounds of Jungle Cruise to get top 10 scores- that is 100 credits each time- now I know that isn't something everyone can do- but if you can get on at opening almost anyone can get on top 10- I've seen it down with 12,000 points and I know someone here posted they just crashed and got a top 10 for 0 points lol

Then I will get my NPC credits- and if early enough will make a second run at night

Usually in the afternoons I will play a few rounds of fireworks- if you can break 200K and get in top 5 that is 90 points- and if you are lucky and get 1st place that is 190 points...

So usually in a day I can get around 1000 credits if I play. Yesterday I was home sick and did 2000+ on the day. But I hit a good run of playing fireworks with people who couldn't play as well (and I don't play great so those don't come often)

Also when I am visiting in someone's room with my main- I usually have one mule just crashing a boat blindly in the back ground. I do the same if I'm on and chatting on IM with someone I'll send my character crashing boats while I'm still chatting.

So if you don't have the credits for it- create a mule and let your mule send your gifts to you and your friends. If you use the codes in the sticky, visit all NPC's, mix and play music, crash your boat once, and sell clothing you get over 2500 credits (a little more if you mule is a boy btw) that is five gifts- maybe not enough to send a gift to everyone on your friends list but sure is enough to assure that you have been a good boy/girl this Christmas.

But I agree 500 credits is alot for some people and especially for kids- I know my own dd rarely plays games- the only ones she can score points at is the music game or destroy ned's boat game- so if it wasn't for her dad playing a few rounds of fireworks on her character she'd have next to zero points.

I don't have a mule team as large as MousseDude- but I can tell you that it is good to have a few that even if you do nothing else but run them through for credits then you really don't have to worry about surprise events. I have quite a few that are retired (until my dh adopts them for firework's magic pins lol) My most recent used up all his credits for the recent race- the month before the race he did all his credit runs each day and as the race got closer he would play some fireworks every now and then- and in less than a month had way over 6000 credits to purchase gifts for all the racers. Sadly he is now parked in the retired stalls- unless needed again for a future race or event.

Don't foget to Ned, 20 points to just crash! If you get in top 10 he gives you 100 credits. Fireworks also give decent credits if your score is high enough.

As for 500 credits being worth it or not, I guess it just depends what our surprise will be! If it's a magic carpet pin or inferno....YES it would be worth it. If it's a lump of coal...then NO! Guess we'll find out Dec 24 if it was worth it or not.

I dont know, i guess i am in the minority here, and with the credits i have maybe i am not the best unbiased person on the subject but..

Come on now, everything they have released lately from hats, to shoes, to costume pieces, and even pins have been at LEAST 500 credits. So i just dont get the surprised/mad reaction to a 500 credit gift? :confused3 Would it be nice if it was 100 credits, or 50? Sure! But if its anything new at all, we should expect to pay 500 or more for it as that is what they have been charging for the last few months.

As virtuallyme pointed out, if you have 10-15 friends that you want to gift, make 2-3 mules today. They will end up with 2,300 and change if its a boy (some of the codes dont work anymore virtuallyme lol). Run them through the npc's again tomorrow and saturday and by saturday you'll have 2-3 (or more depending on how many you do) mules with 2,500+ each who can each gift 5 friends.

I dont know, i just didnt get the surprise, or being mad, that a new thing in vmk is costing 500 credits. :confused3

LAB9-RR3K-EBSK-B9D3.......Bracelet code (get a free VMK shirt)

KLS9-R569-9RJK-CLUG........Cereal Code: Cursed Storm Magic Pin, not tradeable.

(Between approximately 6/24 and 6/26, this code gave the Buried in Treasure Magic Pin instead. If you used this code to get Buried in Treasure, you cannot re-use it to get the Storm Magic pin. If you run into Yavn he can fix this problem for you.)

EUF8-B5BL-9RKC-Y9ZW......Cereal Code: Buried in Treasure Magic Pin, not tradeable.

(Between approximately 6/24 and 6/26, this code gave the Pirate Magic Pin instead. If you used this code to get the Pirate pin, you cannot re-use it to get the Buried in Treasure pin. There is currently no public workaround to repair this problem. However, most people who used the codes during this period already have the Buried in Treasure magic pin from the Cursed Storm code, so there is no real demand for a fix to this, unlike the Cursed Storm pin.)

MTNQ-JDL9-AKT7-99BE......Cereal Code: Pirate Magic Pin; as of 8/2/05, no longer tradeable.

Kellogg's Conquer the Sea Game: Pirate Furniture and Skull Rock Room. When the game ends (regardless of the level or how well you do), you get a unique code which will give you a set of pirate furniture (three items) and a Skull Rock room. If you delete your browser cache, you can play again and get multiple sets of furniture/rooms (Note: there is no way to sell, trade, or delete extra guest rooms, so don't get more Skull Rock rooms than you can use). Technically, this is different from the other multi-use codes where there is a single code, but since everyone can get as many free codes as they want at the Kellogg's site, I think it makes sense to add it here. If you have specific questions about this game or the rewards, please see the exisiting threads on this topic.

for future reference you will find the CODES at the top of this forum they are stickied there for easy access.
