I emailed Sea World about traveling with a disabled child and one thing they informed me of was that the child and their companion could get in for 50% off reg. ticket because of being disabled. Has anyone done this for sure. I was going to get tickets online but for her and the companion we would have to purchase them there.

We have done this, disabled person and carer both get the 50% discount so effectively 2 for the price of 1. We were also able to get the second day free. The discount is only on tickets bought at the gate, not for advance purchase.

That is awesome. I have a disabled child, and did not know about this perk. We have traveled to Sea World numerous times, no one ever mentioned this. Thanks for the info.

A two park ticket? I mean, Seaworld and Aquatica?

Thanks

Sadly no, only on single day Seaworld admission bought at the gate. Since I posted above I've had confirmation from Busch Gardens that they will also give the same discount. I have tried to get info from Aquatica but no reply from them. :confused3

I wish I had known that. I took my disabled cousin there this past week.
