$50 Disney GC on sale at my Target

I just emailed Target corp since here in WI at least the stores near us

have the sale sticker by the GC with the "sale" price of $50!!!!

asking if theres any chance of getting the GC for the sale price

the response I got was shes going to research it and get back to me

I'll give it alittle bit and email her back

I love a sale!!!

Ill let you know what else I find out

Great, I hope there is some good news that comes out of this :)

Don't you love that the sale price is the actual price?? :confused3

Almost as good as the sale price for a $50 gift card is $49.99 ..cracks me up!

If you can't find these on sale at Target and have a Winn Dixie in your area, check their ad. In mine this week (Tampa Bay), $5 off $50 worth of gift cards is being advertised for Father's Day. It's one deal per transaction, but I had no trouble buying $200 worth of Disney cards this morning at one store. I'll be out for more this afternoon. :thumbsup2 They had quite a selection of cards, too!

Thanks for this info! I just checked my WD sale paper and it has the $5 off $50 gift cards so I'll be going there tonight or tomorrow. I don't even know if ours has Disney cards, but it's worth a look. :)

Just to clarify... was it $5 off each $50 worth, or $5 off the $200? Thanks again!

Well actually, I am trying to buy $2000 worth. I called my local Target and they said they would respect a raincheck if I got it from the Target with the sale. I am in San Antonio, the giftcards are in Houston and Corpus Christi... 2 1/2 each way... I guess it's worth it, but what a pain! I didn't hear about the HEB one until it was too late.

So, wait...your Target (where the gift cards are not on sale) will honor a rain check from a Target where they are on sale?? Will they just honor an ad from one of those places?

What is the HEB deal? Is it still ongoing? My mom lives by a HEB so I could send her if it was worth it.

They wont honor the ad from the other city; however, they will honor the raincheck...sigh.

The HEB is over. It was buy the first 100 one, get a 15 dollar coupon off the next. So after the 1st, they were 85 a piece. They called it the Catalina deal.

I bought each one separately, so $20 off total yesterday. I'm not sure how it would work if you buy them all at once. I didn't try when I saw the "one per transaction" on the sign. Both of the stores I've gone to had Mickey cards to choose your own amount, and a few $25 cards with other characters on them. Hope you found them! :thumbsup2

The Winn Dixie in South Alabama has them on sale alos.
I've bought them at Thanksgiving several in one transaction totaling $200, the wording of this add seems a little different.

Also some WD stores let me purchase with my Disney Visa but others said I could not.

Oh wow! I wonder if other Targets would honor a rain check from somewhere else. Hmm, this is something I hadn't thought of

Does anyone know if you can get a rain check even if something isn't sold out??

Tried to buy ~$1500 worth, but the transaction limit for new redcards was only $300, had to use a rewards cc for the rest, but still worth it at $44 for a $50gc.

I went and bought $250 worth at my target in Everett, WA . The best part was that I paid for them with my target gift cards that I earned from Viggle! Yeah Hoo!

Lucky you. I have also been Viggleing but Target GC are not longer being offered. I do have $150.00 in BB GC from Viggle so I am planning on heading to BB this weekend and purchasing a Kindle Fire.

YEAH! I just saved ~$75 by purchasing $950 in gift cards to pay off the balance on our September trip!

Now to go input all those gift card numbers...:rolleyes1

Just wanted to let you know the Corpus Christi Target is sold out of the gift cards. I totally missed the tiny sales ad this week, luckly my DH looked by chance at the GC section in the store and saw the sale. I hadn't been on the borad in a couple of days so I didn't get to read about this sale on the board. I missed the Catalina coupon at HEB too. I was in the store on June 8th. I didn't realize I could ask for a raincheck I will have to try this later today.

So none of the SA targets have the Disney GC on sale? I really thought if I was in SA I would be able to buy a lot more gift cards.

Good luck find GC or getting a rain check.:thumbsup2

Thanks! We went last night and they had the Mickey ones (choose your amount) and Toy Story & Princess for $25. DH and I each got the Mickey one for $50 and it rang up $45! We only got one each in separate transactions since I wasn't sure how it would work. Going back today (and every day of the sale) for 2 more!

Tried hitting our WD today but they didn't have Disney GCs :sad2:
I thought about trying to use the Visa ones but they charge an activation fee negating the deal. Oh well.

Mission accomplished, about $4500 in GCs for our trip later this year. I sure hope the 1% goes to DD's school also for using the RedCard.
