I've just lost another lb so am up to 53lb loss now and trying v. hard for that 55lb clippie.

I'm into week 2 of THE PLAN - exercising that is and my muscles still haven't got used to having to work for a living;). I am trying hard to stick to Atkins but somehow those cheats keep sneaking in - the odd stickie sweetie handed to me by a grubby 3yr old - how can you say 'no darling', or the odd glass of red when your boyfriend brings a bottle round?

But the important thing is that I'm losing!!!Yippee:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

How about everyone else??
 
Elise I'll come out and play with you. :D I don't have a club neither atleast i don't think so. I'm trying so hard to get motivated to get these pounds i need to graduate to the next clippee off. It's been a great last two weeks for me so i should'nt really need much motivation. But the thing is after i hit 50 it seems to slow so much and it was really hard to stay focused but it seems that since making it to 70's i've had whoosh weeks the last two weights i'm scared my luck it gonna run dry before i claim that 75lb'er. I wish i could help you more but i don't know anything really about atkins to suggest foods to you. I'm just eating senisbly so i can have anything. Just remember while your doing all those exercise to drink EXTRA (i know, i know) water. You knew that was coming did'nt you. You are looking fanastic btw girly!!!! Oh i just relized we both have the same amount to go before we graduate to new clippee's. Wanna race to make it fun? I got my money on your though.;) I just know a stall will come this is too good to be true. I must run.......
 
Congrats ladies! You both inspire me so much. I'll play when I get back from. . . . :teeth:
 

Well it's now officially Saturday morning so I've made it to week 2 of exercising - yeay - but it still doesn't feel good:( Tummy and legs still huting and still waiting for the magic of endorphins to appear;)

Think it's because I am basically a lazy cow at heart and it is sooo much like hard work. Oh well, as everyone around me constantly says(until I am sooo sick of hearing it) "no pain, no gain" aaaagh!!!

I am not going to join a gym or kick boxing classes(love doing that now 'cos it's so much more fun to kick around a lot of big strong guys than jump around in a pink leotard) until I start Uni and see what facilities they have available, plus I'll know what my study schedule is going to look like. I think my spare time is going to be drastically reduced, what with getting the kids off to their school and nursery for 8 in the morning, getting the bus to the train staion, then the train to Birmingham and racing through the city to get to class on time and then rushing back at the end of the day.
I know I should learn to drive but I just have a mental block about passing the flippin test(last time I crashed into a bus!!) But the good thing is that I HAVE to WALK!! I'm sure that if I had a car, the weight would not have dropped off half as fast.

My aims for next week are to keep up the exercise(and the WATER!!), loose another lb(at least) and keep aiming for that shiny 55lb clippie!!!

I just wanted to ask if you'll save a couple of seats in your club, because Geetey and I are gonna be knocking on your clubhouse door soon (right, Terry?)!!

Tammy and Elise, you've both been tremendous inspiration for me, always reminding me that I need to try just a little harder. I'm honored to count two such big losers as friends!:D
 
Elise I'm so proud of you two weeks of exercise WOW. I'm planning key word there planning to start back exercising i have been bad for 6 weeks now and having down anything to speak of much less brag about in that department. My goal is to start with my ab firm tapes at least 3 times a week. I love that tape and it's only 20 minutes to do it. I really saw results in my tummy doing that and then add back the 1 mile watp tape like i did in the begginning that should take me to goal and tone me up so i look nice when i get there. And elise i'm like you i need the 1 dreaded more lb to get to my clippee well 1.5 but i'm hoping and praying for a whoosh sometime in the next few days. Maybe we'll both be showing off new clippees soon. I may even show off my tummy shots again with a update picture. I can see a big difference there from when i started. I feel like the next 15 lbs i'll be able to tell how much more i want to go to goal.

KathyTX and Geetey you guys are so weclome to our club grab your new clippees and come on it!:) I can't wait to see you posting with us. Kathy i know you both are kicking butt and i'm amazed at how far you guys have come and it's seem to be so fast and wonderful for you both. How bout some update pic's when you guys make it to 50! I am so proud to have you both looking over my shoulder push me all the time YOU both inspire me to keep going.

Yes, Ma'am!! I haven't been able to post much lately but I am knocking on that 50 clippie door!! If I weigh the same on Monday as this morning, I am IN! WOO HOO!!

I recently added the 4 mile WATP tape to my routine (It's Tara's fault. Those long walks of hers are pressing me to do more!) so I am hoping for some great numbers!

Tara and Elise, you are both doing SOOOO great!! I can't wait to join your club and go PLATINUM! ;)
 
Yeay - Got that sucker!!! Actually lost 3lbs in a whoosh - must be the exercise kicking in in!!!

And the biggest loser of us all , Tammy should be collecting that shiny 75 right about now too!!!

Elise I've pumped up the exercise this week so nothing going on in the loss department so far this week. I'm eating great and putting a lot of effort into toning so maybe we'll see what the weekend holds i'm done exercising now for the week and i'm taking the next three days off so maybe i'll get to reap the fruits of my hard work. I'm sure hoping for a whoosh it's also in between TOM for me and I usually hold steady a few days bloating up and then get a whoosh or atleast sometimes i do. I appreciate all the cheerleading i sure do need it. As much as i know i'm doing all the RIGHT things its tough watching the scale stay the same. Thanks for the encouragement and hopefully soon i'll get to see some results. Have a great day!!
 
ARGH!! I missed it by *this* much!!! I was hoping I would then get to join the club on Tuesday but there was no change that morning either. NEXT week though, I will officially be here!! Well, I better be. ;)
 
Hmph...

I thought I'd be joining you guys by now, but the scales haven't been moving for me lately!!!

I've been eating carefully (I may have been a tad too low on the points, though). I've been WATPing. I've been drinking loads of water. I've been buying smaller sizes. But the scales are STUCK!!!

(I have had an *amazing* number of people at work comment on my loss this week, though! What a huge boost and motivator that is!!)

I really need a little whoosh fairy visit. Soon.

If you get whooshed would you send the fairy my way? I only need .5 pounds to join the club but I would appreciate more. This bloated feeling needs to GO!

I too am looking for the whoosh fairy. Do you guys think claping works for the whoosh fairy too? CLAP, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP lol. Oh i am in the same boat with geetey and kathy. No movement on ye ole' scales for me this week so far. I'm stuck and have been UP as much as three lbs this week!! OMG what's going on? OH right i've exercised everyday this week and it's TOM coming up :( Dang blame it! I am so frustrated cause we are leaving next weekend for our beach trip to daytona and i wanted to have been in the 50's and have a couple lbs cushion to eat freely well it is not looking good today anyways. But i'm sooooooo close just maybe we should all hold hands and repeat WE BELIEVE, WE BELIEVE, WE BELIEVE and then step on the scales with the right heart attitude and see if we where whooshed? What do you girls think? Could it work? :) Have a healthy day my friends and remember drink a bucket load of water and while your considering my back attack on the whoosh fairy.;)
 
I just wanted to crash this thread and let you all know that you are doing such a great job and you have been so inspirational to me. Knowing that all of you have been able to succeed makes me want to succeed as well and I know that someday I will be able to proudly claim membership to the 50+ club (hopefully by Halloween :) ).

I hope that the whoosh fairy visits each of you in the next few days. If I see her I will send her your way! :)

Well all that praying from you guys appeared to have worked on me, and I wasn't even expecting it!!! Weighed this morning and I've lost another 1lb!!!! - Yeay - 33 to go!!!!

I have been quite conscientous about exercising this week and flushing out all m,y toxins - drinking loads and having soup for lunch instead of crispbreads and pate. Decided to start cutting down on the amount I've been eating a tad as I've been letting this Atkins thing go to my head a bit - with the all the protein you can eat etc - I might consider switching over to South Beach as it seems a little more sensible.

Elise- crispbreads and pate for lunch? That sounds so wonderfully exotic and sophisticated to my Texas ears!

Okay, guys. I'm clapping. Tell me when I can stop.
