Here is a short trip report from out August 7 - August 11 trip.
We spent Monday at Universal Studios, Tuesday at Animal Kingdom AND MGM Studios, Wednesday at Wet n' Wild, Thursday at Islands of Adventure.
The summary...
Universal Studios is a classic "movie" park that I can't get enough of.
Animal Kingdom was great except for the morning ceremonies (Not for 21 year olds) I LOVED Expedition Everest and the Safari. Primeval Whirl gave me the hebi jeebies! A bugs life show is the best 4D in the world.
MGM Studios was the only park that was crowded, but probably because it is so great. We love Rock n roller coaster but I hate ToT (fear of heights). Lights Motors Action is the coolest show on the planet.
Wet n' Wild sucks. Not that many attractions and my fiancee and I had to save a kid from drowning in the wave pool. Lifeguards didn't even try to help. If I were a kid, I would have loved Bubble Up!
Islands of Adventure is right up my alley....Thrill Rides mixed with the latest technology = AWESOME. This is a great park.
Dining Reviews:
Rainforest Cafe = A must...Try the VOLCANO!!!!!!!!
Planet Hollywood = Great Ribs, cool atmosphere.
Ohana = A MUST DO!!! Great for adults and the kids. (Tip: Go at sundown or right before Wishes)
Bahama Breeze = Great place to eat if you like Latin Food (Paella, Guava BBQ Ribs)
Sci-Fi Dine In Theatre = A cozy place for 2 or 4 people. Not for 3 people or large parties. Good food and great time.
***CityJazz : This is the best club that there is. Karaoke on Monday, Rock/Reggae Band, Comedy and Hypnotism. Also they have great food and drinks. (P.S. 18 and over, most Citywalk clubs are 21 and over)***
