5 minute wait at Soarin. (9/8/16) This is not a joke

Okay I had heard that WDW was slow. But I had taken this with a grain of salt. So I was at Epcot this past Thursday. Low and behold there was a five minute wait for Soarin. This was around 4:30 pm. We haven't seen Epcot this uncrowded in a long time. Frozen when we went past was 50 and the meet and greet 20. So that was the worse one. We also went to the Tutto gusto wine cellar and had a fabulous meal. We walked on Spaceship Earth.

I think that things will pick up during F&W festival. But man it was quiet.

I think that these are typically slow weeks at WDW, but once F&W gets underway and the countdown to the end of MSEP starts, the crowds will be back.

We were there the end of August around noon. We had a fp, but we decided to go standbye because it was a 20 minute wait. We were actually on the ride 13 minutes later. We had a shorter wait in standbye, then we've ever had using a fp.

The week after LD is the one of the slowest times. Enjoy it. I have been checking wait times this week and have never seen them so low.

Yes it used to be historically slow. It hasn't been that way in a long time. There haven't been a slow period like that in awhile.

To quote the podcast crew "There isn't really a slow period." There are slower periods.

The third theater is helping that too. Wait times weren't bad in late July, and I was able to get a same day fast pass for it

We just got back too. We never waited more than 15 minutes for anything. The only lines I saw get 60+ were SDMT, FEA and PP. We made sure we had FP+ for those. We never waited any more than 10 minutes for anything. Funny thing is it was Living With The Land. Waited about 20 minutes for that. Could not have been more pleased with crowds. Weather was awesome too.
