ASMO FOOD COURT- Throught out our 5 days at ASMO we had a variety of food from the FC. Breakfast was stuff like pastries, cereal, and bacon and eggs while lunch and snacks consisted of salads, burgers, fries, subs, icecream, etc... Everything was good-very good, your typical food court meal. One thing that really stood out to me was the Taco Salad with beef. I had read good reviews about that on these boards so I had to try it. It didnt disappoint. And as a side note, the pool bar was very good too. They make a great frozen mudslide.
PIZZA PLANET- With the kids being Toy Story fans, we had to stop in at Pizza Planet for lunch. We had been here last year so we knew ahead of time it wasnt the best pizza around, but still good enough for us to go back. The salad was good too, but basically just lettuce with one cherry tomato. The kids love the theming and the game room was a big hit. It actually worked out well since there was a quick downpour outside while we played. We would go here again.
ALOHA ISLE- I think thats the name of the place where you get Dole Whips in Adventure Land. As always, the Dole Whips were great. Between the 7 of us we had the pineapple/vanilla, vanilla/chocolate, and plain vanilla varieties. We all enjoyed them.
ELECTRIC UMBRELLA- Here we had typical fast food, hotdogs, burgers, and pizza. Everyone was happy with what they got. No complaints here.
LIBERTY INN- This burger spot in America was very good. The burgers, fries and hotdogs really hit the spot for us when we ducked in there from the rain. They had a really good fixins bar too. DH was very happy to find Sam Adams here.
CAPTAIN COOKS(at the Poly)- Mixed reviews here. DH really liked the breakfast potatoes, but the french fries werent the greatest. And the only breakfast sandwiches they offer are on a croissant. DH would have prefered it on a bagle or english muffin. Another minor complaint we had was there were no breakfast "platters" like at the ASMO FC. You had to buy everything like the meat, and potatoes separate. The pasteries were very good here. All in all it wasnt bad for fast food, but we preferred ASMO FC to Capt Cooks.
MAIN ST ICE CREAM PARLOR- Between us we only tried 3 different flavors, vanilla, chocolate chip, and butter pecan, but we were all very happy with what we got. This was very good icecream. We got it to eat while waiting for FITS to start. We staked out a spot(undercover from the rain) near the Plaza Pavillion then sent DH to go get it. Eating that really helped to pass the time and make us forget how miserable it was out.
