So Tracy told Mike she would get the next update finished this weekend and I thought that was funny because what she didn't know was her wonderful hubby had planned a surprise party for her for Saturday night. It was funny that she was texting me on Sat night asking if I could bring some stuff with me on Sunday and I was just leaving to head to her place so it was really good timing.

I think she was really surprised when she got home although she figured it out as soon as she walked in the door and saw all the shoes

All in all it was a good night and we spent today hanging out, kids swimming, looking at my scrapbook stuff and talking about our trip!!!

Needless to say I don't think she finished the next update

Good Morning Everyone!!!

I did do my movie night last week but I didn't do a lot of theming we basically just watched the movie. We watched Lilo and Stitch (I know it's a really easy movie to theme but I actually ran out to work while the kids were watching the movie )

Tracy will hopefully do this movie too and we know she will theme it well!!!

I gotta get writing my part of the plans for the trip so I can send them all to Tracy and drive her nuts. NO MORE SLACKING!!!!

Day 4
Monday September 26th
Park: DHS and DTD
Reservations: 1900 Park fare
This is the first of 2 Disney Hollywood Studio days for us. I am very excited because I hear through the rumour mill that Phineas and Ferb will be meeting by the time we get there. Eryka loves them so it will be nice to have a new meet and greet that she will like!!!
I have to admit, though I like Phineas and Ferb, I haven’t seen very many episodes of the show. I don’t think Ariana has either but she loves any meet and greet. Demetri loves them so he’ll be very happy to meet them! I have in my notes that I MUST meet Sully and Mike Wazowski and see Boo’s door. We’ve never met them!
I have never done 2 DHS days in a trip before so this will be kinda new to me.
I am going to post our “to do” list and whatever we don’t get to this day we will hit on our second day.
We’ve always set aside two days for DHS. There’s so much to do and I love to go thru the park with a more relaxed style and stop for Streetmosphere…. and the occasional extra spin on Toy Story Mania.
We will more than likely have breakfast at Pop this morning since there are not a lot of options at DHS. I know I will be having the Pop waffle cause I LOVE it!!!

Mmmmm….. something from Starring Roles maybe? This chocolate peanut butter cupcake looks devine!

We will be saving the new parade and Fantasmic! For our next DHS day. We should try and sign the kids up for Jedi training on our second day too. Demetri has been trying to get picked for that so many times but now they have a sign up system that you have to try and get to early before the spots run out.

I’m sure we will probably start the park by going on Toy Story since I know my kids love it and I’m sure Tracy’s do too!

Oh for sure! It’ll be fun to partner up and try and beat one another’s scores. I’m … ahem… fairly competitive and will take great pleasure in kicking everyone’s butts!!!

We would like to go on the Great Movie Ride if by chance we can get on the cowboy side.
That darn elusive cowboy side! I will get you yet! As much as I enjoy this ride, I’m pretty bummed about getting the gangster side all the time and will likely skip it if the cowboy is nowhere to be found.
The new Star Tours will be open when we get there and I know that is a must do for Tracy and her kids (I don’t know if my kids know what Star Wars is ) I don’t think Emma will go on it but her and I can hang out while the others do.
I’m pretty sure Ariana will be asking for Star Tours as soon as we get into the park. I’m not sure what it is about it that interests her so (personally the old ride made me a little queasy) but she adores it. I’m really keen on seeing the revamped version but hope it doesn’t make my stomach go all funky.
I have not seen the Indiana Jones show in years so I would like to do it this time.
It’s been years for us too, we usually skip it. It should seem like new again! Isn’t there something about pulling a rope in a well there too…..? I’ve never heard what happens so I’m curious to see what happens!
I want to see LMA since we have never seen it and we will be taking Demetri with us while Tracy and Ariana go have some mother/daughter time.
Oh I forgot to tell you!! I totally want to see it now….. I read that Herbie has been replaced by Lightning McQueen! How cool will that be?! (Haha, you’ve probably read that yourself in the time it took me to get my half of this update done!! )

I would also like to see the Backlot Tour but this can be a game time decision and if we don’t do it then it can make next year’s list.
We had to skip the Backlot Tour last trip. Have the displays at the end changed recently? I think the last time I saw it, it was the Enchanted and Star Wars ones….? I’m fine either way we decide, it’s not a must do for us either.
I have tried to see Beauty and the beast many times and for some reason it never works out so I really wanna hit the first showing this day!
I can’t wait for you guys to see this show – you’ll love it!

Me and my girls have never been in One Man’s Dream ( I know how dare I) and I would like to see the film as well.
I finally saw the film with the Spectrum Mom’s in January but my kids haven’t yet seen it. They’ll love it and I always take tons of pictures of all the displays!
Little Mermaid is Emma’s favourite show so we will hit that one too.

I love this show. Ariana sometimes gets antsy waiting for the doors to open so I’ll have to see if I can plan something for her to do. Maybe I’ll put together a Little Mermaid word search with a LOT of words to find.
We had a lot of fun learning to draw Angry Donald last year so off to the Magic of Disney Animation we will go and see who we will learn to draw this time.
We’ve missed this every year and I can’t wait to do it!! I really hope Ariana will be able to follow along and do her own drawing, but regardless she’ll have fun seeing the rest of us do ours.
Playhouse Disney will be cute for Emma but I’m sure Eryka will not be impressed (good thing I tell them we have to do things that others like too )
Demetri will really like it too, especially with the new Jake and the Neverland Pirates addition – he LOVES that show. I soooo wish they had benches to sit on in here. I’m forever shifting my legs trying to find a comfortable position.
Then last but not least Emma and I will get some yummy ice cream and take some pictures while the others head over to the headliners of the park, Tower of Terror and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. I don’t know yet if I want to ride these, I’m not scared but I am getting old and wondering if the drops and speed will make me feel not so good
Oh pish-posh on getting old! Demetri has a love-hate thing with ToT and my guess is he’ll stick with you and Emma while the rest of us go on it. I can only handle it once though! RnRC on the other hand I could do a few times (as long as my head doesn’t get knocked around too much) and it will be Demetri’s first time being tall enough to ride. He is VERY excited to ride it!
We will accomplish what we can before we have to leave the park for our Dinner reservations at 1900 Park Fare. We’ll need to give ourselves enough time to scoot to the bathroom at the Grand Floridian to let the girls change into their Cinderella finest. Ariana will want me to do her hair too.

My girls got to open this restaurant last year and it is one of the best memories from our trip, maybe we will get lucky and Ariana will get to do it this year!!!
I’m really looking forward to this dinner… we did 1900 PF breakfast last trip and while it was good, I love dinner with Lady Tremaine and the Stepsisters. They are sooooo fun and this will be a do-over for my family. We lost all of our video footage of our last dinner with them due to the crappy camera we had at the time. Our pictures are from our 2006 trip.

I would absolutely LOVE for Ariana to have the chance to open the restaurant. What a memory!
I love the dinner here, the characters are fun and the food is good. I am going to get the biggest bowl of strawberry soup I can get!!! I’ve yet to try that…. for some reason I keep missing it.
When we are done dinner the plan is to head over to Downtown Disney for the rest of the evening.
We don’t have a huge list for DTD as we are NOT going to do a lot of shopping and I am NOT going into Wonderful World of Memories, I repeat I am NOT going into Wonderful World of Memories. Shall I motor you right on past this store? What if you’re kicking and screaming?
We are planning on hitting:
· Lego store
· World of Disney
· Basin
· Arribas Brother (I want to get Eryka a glass slipper)
· Ghirardelli
· Once upon a Toy
· Mickey’s Pantry (My first time in this store! George always motored me past that one!)
· Days of Christmas and
· Goofy’s Candy Co.
Keep reminding me to use my AP discount for shopping, I keep forgetting! We should get a Goofy’s mirror pic, a Happy Holidays pic and don’t forget you want a picture of Pooh!

When we get tired we will head back to the hotel and finish the list on our next DTD day. We can afford to be a little late on this day considering what we have planned for Day 5.

I have heard about P&F coming though am not sure we are that bothered about meeting them! However, Mike and Sully is one on our must do list - can't wait to meet someone that is shorter then me!! Being a small height of 5ft that is important, lol!!
