I may have read about some of your changes on another thread. Think you jinxed yourself at the start when you said you were hoping for not as many changes as last time!
Hope you are all okay with the changes being made (if they happen)![]()
Were you on the Sept thread? Although I love the deluxe resorts I would always rather have company and friends over a Deluxe. Plus we stayed at Pop last year and we loved it! As long as I am in Disney that is all that matters!
Yep sure was and your right...company and friends are more important then a Deluxe![]()
Being at Disney is all that matters and will def keep a look out to see if I can spot you around the resort!
Day 3 Monday September 26, 2011
I dont know if you all saw but the hours are up on the Disney Travel Agent site so I did some reworking of my schedule when I found out the Fantasmic days. I believe this was originally going to be an Epcot day but now we will be going to ..
Animal Kingdom
Now this is our least favorite park. There are a couple things we LOVE and a couple things we havent tried. I will start with what we havent tried
First is Tusker House, this is a must do for this trip since Ive heard it is great and we havent been there. We will do breakfast there but not till about 9:30. Its AM EMH so that will give us time to do a couple things before breakfast.
Next is Flights of Wonder. We walked by this a lot last year and Eryka kept asking to go but we always seem to just miss the show so I will put it in the plans for this year.
Kali River Rapids. We ran scared from water rides last year since we didnt want icicles hanging from our noses, but I think it will be warmer in September and we can tackle this one. I dont think Em will like it but she will get over it LMAO **OT - I made her watch a Haunted Mansion video on YouTube last night and showed here there was not fast movement or drops and that she can hold me in the dark so maybe I will get her to go on that this year**
The trails around the tree of life we have never been on and I would love to get up close so I can get some great pictures.
And our last new thing for AK is Rafikis Planet Watch. Hard to believe in 5 trips we have never made it there but we never spend much time at AK. I think Em will really like the animals.
I like Carousel of ProgressIt's a great big beautiful tomorrow!!!!!!!
It sounds like Stitch will not be a good choice for Em
I do too, I love her hair!!!
Um, you do know that Fantasmic isn't in EPCOT right??
Not sure how a Fantamsic night caused you to go from EPCOT (no Fantasmic) to Animal Kingdom (still no Fantasmic)
We liked Tusker House for breakfast.
Flights of Wonder was a good show. We were going to skip it since it was cold, but did it anyway. Definitely a worthwhile thing to see.
The trails are cool too, and they don't take that long. We did it during EMH and had them all to ourselves so we could take a nice leisurely pace.
Maybe it was too cold, but we didn't really enjoy Rafiki's Planet Watch. I think I was bummed at not seeing Jiminy Cricket.
Great first and second day!
Rafiki's planet watch is fun, but doesn't offer a ton. Will loves the train ride and you can see Pocohantas, Jiminy Cricket and Rafiki there usually with short lines. The petting zoo is okay. The displays are cute, but it shouldn't take you long out there. We usually skip Kali now- the line is always so long and yet the ride is so short. We've done it a few times and now just skip it. Alan hates getting wet anyhow. I did the tusker house breakfast years and years ago on a trip with my sister. We did enjoy it a lot! I know the girls will have a great time.
I love WCC!!!!! I might just have to build this into our itinerary this time. we will see.
I was just thinking about checking hours on 'that' site.....do they have October on there yet? I can't really plan my days until I have the hours. I also need to figure out for sure what we are doing for our first night's hotel........since we want to come in the night before (friday night).
Ethan did not really enjoy SGE.. not scary, per sea.. but as mentioned.. blowing air... mist (feels like I am being spit on.. not something I enjoy..
) Would see CoP in a heartbeat before doing it again..
Now who could Eryka go on EE with... hmmm....![]()
Glen
it's confusing which is why I didn't post it but since you asked.....
I wanted to do DHS on Tues but when hours came out no F! on Tues so I moved DHS to Thurs. Ak was on Thursday and could have just moved it to tues but Touring Plans said no so I moved AK to Monday and Epcot (that was on Monday) to tuesday
Get it?
I'm excited about Tusker House!
Seeing Jiminy Cricket would be cool but we will go to see the animals, Em loves that kind of stuff. plus we have never done it so it needs to be checked off the list
Emma doesn't like dark, fast, drops, scary, loud or backwards. So that means she can ride the carousel
I love CoP! But I'm corny like that
Eryka would love to go on EE with Ethan if you guys were coming this Sept![]()
That makes perfect sense, and is much less confusing for your readers. You said they posted the Fantasmic nights, so you had to move Animal Kingodom to your EPCOT day, which made no sense.
THINK OF YOUR READERS!!!!![]()
I wish.... Uncle Sam was nice to us this year and I am taking Katie back for her birthday and our anniversary...
(she doesn't know about the banner, yet)
Another great plan! Eryka is brave going on EE by herself.
We are also looking forward to eating at Tusker House and am sure the girls will love WCC especially asking for ketchup!!!
Great plans so far, even if you say you're going to keep changing them!
I was so excited to see September hours out today, even if I am only arriving on 9/30, at least I can plan what park I want to be at on that day (even though we always seem to start with Epcot, no matter what!). I can't wait for October hours!
