5 Days, 4 Parks, 3 DIS-meets, 2 ADR’s, and 1 Solo DISer! Done! Finished! Completed!!

Your kids are adorable!!!!!!!
With Liam I can't decide if I'm in denial in what could be the problem or over-thinking the whole thing and thinking he has problems that he doesn't (just little boy behaviors)....getting a specialist's on this will really help us in that regard sort it all out.

Oh I know that feeling, it really does help to get that outside opinion, I'll be thinking of you!

::yes::

They actually sell the Dragonberry rum at our local liquor store, but I don't know how to recreate the rest of it.
wow, I didn't realize that the dragonberry in those drinks (having only wistfully eyed pictures on TR's) was a rum....yum!

I just wish Starring Rolls was set-up a little better....it can be a bear to get to the cash register.

And why did she decide to sit at the most adult place in that theme park...if she could have been bothered to walk another 5 minutes they could have sat someplace where the kids could have been entertained.

I completely agree about the Starring Rolls layout and that grandma ....:scared1:

I recall music on RRC as well.

No worries....I started reading your PTR (finally) ....I need to go back and catch up!
Oh don't worry about catching up, feel free to jump right in :goodvibes

Love the photo journey. I'm going to call you crazy, but not really. I know what you mean about that kind of pizza. Sometimes it's comforting. For me, it actually reminds me of college. :lmao:

I know what you mean about the pizza...at least the college part! then again I had a room one quarter where we thought it would be brilliant to decorate our walls with empty Domino's pizza boxes. You don't want to know how many boxes we put on those walls.

I love the balloon photo's.

I love your walking tour through DHS...

It reminds me of someone else who did the same thing recently.....;)

I loved the pictures. DHS is such a great place to take pictures. Thanks so much for sharing.

I"ve said it before, I'll say it again...

You are one very creative photojournalist!! I LOVE your pictures!!!

I think after AK, The Studios is the best park for taking pictures. So sleek and glamorous!

I love the window for the association of second assistant directors. :lmao: It made me laugh this morning. I've never noticed that pull rope before either. I would have been so tempted to pull it!

Glad to see you posting updates again, Heidi! :goodvibes

I hadn't realized that you and Jackie got to meet on your trip. Very cool. :thumbsup2

Never noticed this window before!! The balloon pictures are so cheerful and fun!

You had a gorgeous day for the Studios. :sunny:

This year my kids finally found out what happens when you pull the rope....

I think we actually had better pizza in college! ;)
i don't mind the pizza at pizza planet or pinnochios.

I've never eaten at Pinnochios but it's nice to know that I could order the pizza there if need be.

Great pictures Heidi! :thumbsup2 I don't hate the Disney pizza - I'm sure I'll have it once or twice...

With 2 boys you probably eat a lot of pizza!

.
I may have to find a bottle of that stuff for this summer!

Ah, Disney balloons!!! I needed those today to cheer me up!!! :lovestruc
Well I'm glad I could help! If I was ever to win BIG at the lotto....I would love to buy the whole bunch and walk around giving them away....wouldn't that be fun?

Great minds........:thumbsup2

Before this trip I haven't really taken a lot of pictures here. I still think I'm missing a lot of details of this park.

I"ve said it before, I'll say it again...

Thank you very much ! :goodvibes

Oh you must pull it! Half the fun is watching other guests watch you as they try to figure out what the heck is going on and why are you pulling on a rope.

Glad to see you posting updates again, Heidi! :goodvibes

Kathy

I had great weather the whole trip.....a little too humid in the evenings but better than rain!

Now here’s where solo touring gets really good….street shows! You can stay as long as you like without having someone get bored!

Very funny skit….Knowledge is Power! They would see a guest and make a comment about how they “knew” something about them. And I got “picked on” as well. My hair was in two pig-tail braids and the joke was something like “Pippie Longstocking may not be making movies anymore but she still hangs out on Sunset Blvd!”

When the show was done I started back on my way to leave the park….I didn’t get very far….I stumbled on the “Home Repair” skit.

OK now I’m really leaving….
100409410.jpg

…..but not until I say Hello to Bo!
100409411.jpg

By 230pm I was back at the resort and I got Lava smoothie $4.69 ….these are the ones with no booze that I actually like better.

I'm loving your report and pics, Heidi! One question...are the street show performance times listed anywhere? We totally missed them. :confused3

Too funny about the Pippi Longstocking comment!!!

Hi, Bo!!! He is looking a little less hairy than the last picture I saw of him! :rotfl:

I'm glad you got to enjoy the street performers! I'd love to be able to do that but I have that other-people-getting-bored problem. :rolleyes1

Hi trixie! Haven't seen you in ages!!! I don't believe the times are listed....I even checked the Steve Soars site and he didn't have times either. The shows are on both Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd.

Too funny about the Pippi Longstocking comment!!!

I wondered how many people in the crowd actually got that joke. I haven't seen Pippi since I was a little girl.

I took that picture of Bo before he got into the green beer!

I'm glad you got to enjoy the street performers! I'd love to be able to do that but I have that other-people-getting-bored problem. :rolleyes1

Maybe all us girls that have that same problem should get together for a trip.....

THat's so funny about the Pippi Longstocking comments!! She was one of my very favorites growing up!! What a fun memory jog.

Yes, touring solo- I get 3 glorious days of doing MY OWN THING!! Can't wait. You have gotten me very excited about all the possibilities!!

Great pix...I'm relaxed just looking at your pictures....except the performers look hot! Sweaty hot.

Any post that includes the words Lava Smoothie is okay by me.

I'm still getting over the decorating with pizza boxes. I'm scared to think of what that room looked like. :lmao:

I love the Street Perfomers. They can be so much fun, and you're right, it's great to be able to watch for as long as you want and not worry about anyone getting antsy or wanting to move on.

I love the streetmosphere at the studios! I was able to sneak away alone to the Studios while with my parents a few weeks ago, and loved being able to enjoy some free time to myself. It was wonderful.

Love the Pippi comment!

YAY for streemosphere. We only caught one last time, I'm hoping for more. What a lovely way to spend the afternoon.
