5 Days, 4 Parks, 3 DIS-meets, 2 ADR’s, and 1 Solo DISer! Done! Finished! Completed!!

Sorry about the safari. I've had a few like that too. My last one was pretty bad. The poor driver was having a hard time finding us animals to look at. I don't think I've ever run across anything buy little lizards around the resorts. I'd much rather see bunnies.

Eeek! My apologies Heidi for getting here so late. I wasn't paying attention and didn't notice the link in your signature. I will get caught up soon. :thumbsup2

Me! Me! I get excited at the bunnies and the ducks! Well, Henry gets excited about the ducks, which makes me excited. ;) But bunnies! So cute and fuzzy. I like.

Sorry to hear about the lame-o safari. We've had one poor one, and the driver kept repeating himself, I'm guessing he either has done it all so many times he couldn't remember where he was in his skit because he was half tuned out, or he just didn't have anything else to say! I think we only saw animals WAY out in the distance that one...it was late afternoon. But, we have done others just after lunch and they were good. Who knows. Like you said, ride more than once!

I finally got a chance to get all caught up! I'm loving your solo report. :thumbsup2

Just a few notes...

I liked seeing the Food and Wine Festival decorations. I don't remember ever seeing pictures of them before.

I love the trainer chopsticks. I can use real chopsticks, thanks to my husband's tutoring, but P. F. Chang's now offers a little attachment that turns regular chopsticks into something they can work with. My boys were able to use them the last time we went and they loved it! We brought the tiny parts home with us and now they can use them with our chopsticks.

Loving your low crowds!! :cool1:

The link in post two for the 2nd half of MK/parade - the one you posted on 12/15 - the link goes to the first half. Wanted to let you know so you could change it.

Can't wait for more!

Awesome update; I loved the tiger pictures! And yes, I get excited seeing bunnies at the resort! :rotfl:

Hi Everyone!!!! I've missed you:goodvibes

Last month I exiled myself from the DIS. The deal was that I couldn't go back on until I finished writing my trip report in Word. It's done. :woohoo: And I will begin posting updates regularly starting in the next few days. I have soooo much to get caught up on with my threads that I subscribe to :scared1:.

I thought I would share a few pictures from "real" life before we get going with the TR again.

Danica is doing wonderful. She's 10 months old and just about to walk any day now!

Liam is doing excellent as well. He has a couple busy months coming up. (He has developmental delays in the areas of communication) We are currently meeting with the school district to get him into pre-school in May. And this Thursday we are taking him to the Children's Hospital to get evaluated by specialists so you can imagine my stress level!

And we have been very busy with our house addition which takes up a lot of my DH's free time.

Thanks for sticking with me and this trip report.....more Disney is on the way!!

Welcome back Heidi!! Can't wait to hear more about your trip! Thanks for the kid & house pictures! They all look great!! :thumbsup2

Good luck on Thursday!

I write all my reports in Word, I find it so much easier not having to worry if I will lose what I have written. I am so happy to see you back!

The kids are so adorable. I can understand your stress about the evaluation for Liam, but you are being proactive in getting him the help he needs and that is a wonderful thing .

Thanks! I'm looking forward to sharing more of the trip with everyone.

Yea, I always write in Word and I mass copy my picture codes into Word as well.

With Liam I can't decide if I'm in denial in what could be the problem or over-thinking the whole thing and thinking he has problems that he doesn't (just little boy behaviors)....getting a specialist's on this will really help us in that regard sort it all out.

Happy to have you here, and ready when you are! :goodvibes
Hi Friend!

By the way - how did you guys make out in the storm a week or so ago?

What storm? There was a major storm again in NH??? I kid. We didn't get anything but some water in the basement (addition part). Funny thing was that me and the kids slept like rocks that night and I never even heard the wind/rain.

Yeay, you're back! I have missed you, too! Danica and Liam are as precious as ever! Good luck with Liam's appointment! The addition is coming along quite nicely! :goodvibes

Glad to have you back! The kiddos are sooo cute!! DD1 is jealous that Danica is 2 months younger than her and about to start walking. She is nowhere close!

I know how stressed you must be over Liam's communication issues and the upcoming appointment with the specialist. We have been to countless evaluations over the past year with DS2, and I was super anxious for every single one of them. You will feel so much better once everything is over and you know for sure what's going on so you can make a plan. If you ever need to talk, I'm here!

Looks like the remodel is coming along nicely!

Looking forward to TR updates!!

Hey There!!

I can totally understand your wanting to get those updates written up!

yeah, stress... our son has some MAJOR speech issues, and I TOTALLY know and understand your stress level. We too, went through the whole gammut of specialists and evals. It was horrible! I feel your pain. Hope you do better at getting an answer than we got.

congrats on the addition! Looking great to far. I understand that too. We completely finished our basement 800 sq. ft. and it was HARD work!! But oh so worth it!!!
