5-Day Cancellation Policy

We have a trip booked from April 9th, and we may have to cancel. Actually, it's 99% likely--my Dad is scheduled for surgery on the 9th. In order to cancel without losing deposit, do I need to cancel by today (3rd) or can I wait until tomorrow?

I would call CRO to ask but I don't feel up to being on hold and give out my life history yet again just to ask a simple question--okay, maybe "life-history" is a bit of exaggeration, but you know what I mean.

I think you need to call. That way you will get the correct information so you don't lose your money.

Before you cancel completely...call them and explain what is going on. I know 5 years ago I had ressies for the Beach Club. We were all set to go (and Disney had changed the policy from 3 days to 5 just after I made mine ) we found out my Mom had cancer & was going into the hospital for surgery. I called them with less than 3 days notice to cancel. I was all set to forgo my deposit. I explained what was happening and the cast member had just gone thru what I was going thru....she postponed my ressie for me and applied my deposit towards the new date. ( I am NOT telling people to lie to the CM's to get the deposit back...so don't try that....they may ask for proof ie: hospital verification) It will not hurt to call them and tell them what is going on..... sometimes they really do sprinkle pixie dust on guests
