5 become4 the trip report~ Aug 10th~ DHS and Fantasmic

Up quite early for us today and made our way to Disneys Hollywood studios (still Mgm to us)

We had some photo pass pictures taken and a wander around the shops then
headed for Beauty and the Beast, I love this and didnt get to see it last year.

After the show it was lunch time and we sat outside eating, Kieran had seen a storm coming while finding a table and had found one with an umbrella thankgoodness. Otherwise we would have been soaked.

After lunch we rode the great Movie ride and watched American Idol, Love this its always rather amusing.

We left American Idol and decide we all needed a drink, I had a lovely frozen strawberry Margarita.

We watched a bit of Block Party Bash

and then decided to go back to resort for a swim and cool down and we would come back later after spending a bit of time on our little balcony watching a storm.

We decided to escape Disney Dining for a day and went for Dinner at Ponderosa,didnt enjoy this much, but it worked out great later on

After dinner we went back to DHS and joined the queue for Toy story the time said 100 mins but we timed it and we only waited 45, the girl and her boyfriend in front kept us entertained as she kept hiding in areas and taking pictures and he was trying to ignore her

Pete got the higest score, we all really love this ride.

We watched a little bit of the Rock n Glow Party

and Kieran Bought some really cool light up Mickey ears

before we knew it it was time to join the queue for Fantasmic, we found our seats and Pete kept us entertained with his Mexican wave.

Fantasmic is a family favourite. our boys have grown up with it, I have lovely camcorder footage of them re enacting it at home after our first trip,so it always makes me cry was a bit more emotianal this year as I missed Jordan

( note to self ( and Hubby ) need a better camera for next year


Next up.... Meeting Family at Typhoon lagoon, Tutta Italia and Illuminations

Another great day. I like the look of that Strawberry Margarita, I can't believe that I've never had a drinky at MGM Studios (err DHS) before

I like Fantasmic but I don't love it, but I am excited to see it again at Disneyland next year as I prefer it there.

Great day, I love Fantasmic too and missed not seeing it on our last trip.
