5 become 4 the trip report ~ Aug 9th~Sea racers,Magic kingdom and Raglan Road~

We woke up this Morning and had our usual Swim in the Pool,did some Laundry and the boys visited the games arcade.

After a counter service Lunch we caught the resort Monorail over to the Contempory

The boys wanted to go on the Mouse Boats (sea raycers but will always be Mouse boats in our House)

The Boys and Pete put on Life Jackets and off they went, I found a place in the sun and enjoyed watching the world go by,until the Heavens opened,
they all came back soaked to the skin .

To dry off a bit we walked to Magic Kingdom, the boys were hungry so we stopped at main Street bakery and they all had huge cinnamon rolls, I popped next door for an ice cream.

We had a look around the shops on Main Street and then went to watch Philarmagic

We then headed over to Tomorrow land and watched a few characters strutting their stuff

Magic Kingdom was very busy to day so we decided to leave and Pop back to resort for another quick swim.

Later we Headed out to Down Town Disney for our Adr at Raglan Road, last year this was one of our favourite meals, but we didnt enjoy it quite so much this time, we felt very rushed our server kept taking things away the minute
we put them down and the food was not as good as I remembered

after a very hurried dinner we wandered around the shops for a bit

tired out we headed back to AKL and took some time looking at the small detail we loved the Mickey ears in the carpet.

A good relaxing day. It's so disappointing when you are looking forward to returning to a place where you had a great meal and it's a let down.

yes they let the boys drive, I think you have to be 12, Pete needed photo Id and they all had to sign a disclaimer

Same about Raglan Road, we have always had a great meal there.
