I woke up at the un earthly hour of 3.30 am and made myself a cup of tea (loved this hotel for providing complimentry tea bags) half an hour later Kieran joined me and we sat drinking tea watching a terrific storm flash across the sky.
About 6.30 we heard a pathetic little voice shouting for help my cheeky hubby was awake and was wanting a cup of tea brought to him
We all sat and waited for sunrise but as there was a storm it was cloudy so no sunrise piccies as it just got light.
We went down to the lobby to find out about breakfast and we found the fab buffet fruit, panckes ,egg, sausage bacon,hash browns,omlettes cooked to order so we ate and then wondered out to the pool area and had a look around
We also spent a bit of time with the hotels resident (in the grounds) cat
we decided to spend the Morning swimming in Miami beach (north) once we had avoided the nudiest beach ( quite away from our hotel thankgoodness)
we really enjoyed spending time here the water was so warm and clear and it was shallow for quite a while.
We had late check out so headed back, packed up, and set of for a drive to have a little nosy at South Beach before our drive to Orlando
we checked out and were quite sad to leave as we really enjoyed it here and drove to South Beach
I took some pictures out of the car window, no idea why i took this one
South Beach seemed very nice and I was pleasantly surprised plenty of "normal people" as well as the beach gods and goddesses as i had been a bit worried about this before hand
after a little look around it was time to make the long drive to Orlando so off we went we got a really good look of Miami driving out and we also passed the Sun life Stadium which thrilled Kieran as he is a huge Miami dolphins fan
the journey took about 4 hours with a stop for a couple of chicken wraps dunkin doughnuts and coffee.
We amused ourselves listening to a great latin radio station trying to guess what they were saying and bopping along to some strange but fab tunes.
after a long and very boring Journey finally made it to Nearest universal checked in after having a lovely chat with the receptionist who remembers us from last year.
We quickly showered and changed and headed to downtown Disney which was heaving. We grabbed dinner in Earl of Sandwich, Kieran and I had Cobb salads yum and Pete and Julian had Hawian sandwiches. After dinner we had a little look around the shops and then headed back as we were very tired and really looking forward to our first full disney day tomorrow.
(Jordan had spent the day doing Julians paper round seeing friends and answering about a billion phone calls from family and friends checking up on him

forgot to say Pretty sure Tracy (scojo,s) won the race seen as we didnt set of till late
