5:55pm CRT reservation on MVMCP day (no ticket to event)

So I just landed 2 reservations at Cinderella Royal Table for our party of 9 ppl on 12/21. (Split tables of 5 and 4).
One reservation time is 5:50pm the other 5:55pm. It is on a MVMCP night. The park CLOSES AT 6pm. I am so excited to have landed a late reservation bc it allows us to max out our MK time but I am nervous about it being so close to park closing. Will we be told we cant go? WE DO NOT HAVE TICKETS FOR MVMCP but will be at MK that whole day leading up to dinner. I booked through regular ADR site. We will be checking in around 530pm at the host stand.

You are ok! We have 6:00 which is the last time slot for non-party guests as CRT dinner for non-party guests is 4-6:05. I also booked mine through regular dining, not party dining.

By the way, they said they will have CMs escort non-party guests out of the park after dinner. I think it’s the best way to maximize park time on a day when it closes early to guests not wanting to buy party tickets!

Wow, you really got in just in the nick of time too!! I am so excited bc it’s our last night and both our MK days coincidentally fell on MVMCP days . So I am wanting to max it out as best as possible. You just hear stories of people having to leave. I have no problem being escorted out AFTER dinner though!! (In fact my kids may get a kick out of being walked out)

I originally had a 5:45 but then changed to 6 to get those last few min! We will check in a bit early but given that we booked the reservation through the regular dining page and the restaurant hours are listed as going until 6:05, I’m prepared to make my case if we’re given trouble. We were unable to get ANYTHING (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) at CRT at 180+ our entire stay so when I saw these dinners open up and had choice of any time it was amazing! Glad you got a great time too!!

We are going in early Nov so it was probably someone else’s table but that is so exciting! I was in disbelief when I found ours. 3 weeks of checking like 24 times a day (and having reservation finders set) and finally I had my pick of times! Our girls are 2, 4, and 6 and have never been to Disney, so CRT is going to be so amazing for them. They are the biggest Cinderella fans too, especially my 4 y/o! How special for your grandma! That will be a magical experience for everyone

sounds like you have a few little girls that are going to have a blast too. I called customer service after our message to double double check and he said, “your good I don’t see needing a ticket for that time on this end!”
So you just happen to login in and it had a few late times? When was that? Curious as to if they released some later times. Up until now as I saw was 430.

Lol I know! 15 precious minutes! Our ADR day was May 9. Nothing for any meal at CRT during our trip was available. We were devastated. I even considered just taking my older girls while my husband took our 2 y/o somewhere else but no parties of 3 for anything were available. So one day in late May a bunch of dinners opened up for party nights in Oct and Nov- before that nothing was available on party nights even for a 4pm dinner not during the party. That day they loaded a bunch of CRT dinners from 4pm on. I was just doing my normal checking and suddenly all these times were there- 4:00, 5:30, 5:45, 6:00. I booked 5:45 because 6:00 made me nervous, even though I was going through the regular dining page. Then I came on this board and saw someone got a 6:00 and had called and confirmed it was ok. So I went on and took the 6:00. I really only had the 5:45 for a few minutes. Within a day, all of the reservations from 4-6:05 pm for that night were gone! I’m not sure about Dec party nights though. They may have been loaded later or still coming!

Oh yes that free time! I’ve been able to get a BOG lunch that was not available at 180+ but I can’t stop looking for reservations. It’s just a weird habit now!

(Not that I have much free time) hehe I promise though Ohana’s has turned out to be harder than CRT!!

Yes!! And I keep second guessing myself when I find openings- like I found a BOG breakfast that was 30 min later than what we have and thought maybe I should move it. And then a CRT breakfast came up for the day we are doing dinner and I wondered if the lighting during daytime would be better for pictures. Ah! I ended up not taking either. I think I’m happy with what we have except I need to move 1900 Park fare to an earlier time so hopefully that works out. We have 8:10pm but it’s our arrival day and I feel like we will be starting out the trip sleep deprived. Oh yes 9:55 would be very late for those ages. Hope you’re able to move it up! Now to start figuring out this whole FastPass thing. I’m still a bit confused!

Yes, I have that one set but it’s for 9 ppl and we don’t mind splitting so I kinda feel like it won’t help me as much. On my 180 mark it was the first one I booked and the only availability on out whole trip was the 955 But was for all 9. I have talked myself into this: that day is our 1st MK day and the park closes at 6 due to MVMCP so I am telling myself we can go back to room lay our twin 2 year olds down for a nap to take the edge off in order to make the dinner. It’s only our 2nd day there so I am hoping we will still have energy since it’s early into our trip! If it was our last day I would say they will be wiped. Ahaha plus I kinda like that it’s all 9 of us. Even if I get earlier but have to split we would rather stay together bc of the 9ppl 4 are my young kids!
