5/5/2013 "Cinco de Mayo 2013 Cruisers Party on the Dream!"

Four days till we sail. Leaving for the port in three! I gotta start packing and finish up my FE gifts! Can't wait :-D

They have changed Pirate Night to Day 2 (Monday, Nassau day.) I was originally told it was on night 3 but I read today on the board that it was Night 2 for itinerary B. I called shoreside concierge and they confirmed it is on Night 2. The dining rotations are therefore RAAE, AEER, and ERRA. I requested RAAE.

Forgive me for asking but we haven't sailed DCL since 2003 is there a reason for asking for a certain dining rotation?

Just called the reservation line to ask which movies would be playing on the May 5th Dream cruise. She said she can't guarantee but said these were the likely ones:

Iron Man 3 (releasing tomorrow)
Lincoln
Wreck It Ralph
Oz the Great and Powerful
Finding Nemo 3D
Frankenweenie
Brave

Great selection in my opinion.

For some of us there is. I am dining at Palo and Remy so I will only eat in two of rotational dining rooms. In order to guarantee that I dine in the two I want I have made a request.

Thank you for posting - the guys are really hoping Iron Man 3 will be showing! :)
I agree, great selection.

Who would you contact to request a specific dining rotation or is that a concierge level thing?

I asked at DCL when I made my reservation. I want to dine in one of the nicer restaurants on formal night so I asked for a specific one for that night so my rotation will be set based on my request. You can also ask for early or late dinning when you call.

We are all packed and ready to go! Should be heading out around noon tomorrow, we are hoping to get at least 9-10 hours of our drive knocked out tomorrow which will leave 4-5 hours on Saturday. But with a 1 yr old....you just never know how that will go!

I saw that the Tall Ships are in Port Canaveral - DH is interested in seeing them (or it, not sure how many). It does look cool on the webcam!

See you on the ship - we will be easy to spot as we embark, all 6 of us will have matching aqua blue t-shirts with pirate appliques! This has been a fun cruise to plan. pirate:

:yay:p We are on our way to Florida tomorrow. .......so excited for our first cruise. I can't believe it is already time.

We leave tomorrow and will stay near the port tomorrow night. So excited that our first ever cruise is almost here. Can't wait!

We made it to WDW last night. It was pouring down raining! I hope it clears up today. We have a lot of things to do before we board the cruise tomorrow!
