I have an idea the day we are at sea would ya'll like to meet somewhere on the ship as a group just to get to know each other and to say thanks for the goodies. How does that sound?

Ok I think I have this figured out I posted a reply earlier with my info. Now can you explain the FE to me? I saw one on Pinterest and I want to join, just don't know what to buy and for how many. Also When do I deliver them?

You can buy anyting you want them to have. You can deliver anytime during the cruise. The list is on page 12 and you can either buy for each person or for the room.

We are doing a bag for each person and we are adding like stickers, little items, candy and other items. Do what you want to do.

Others will also help you out if you need more information.

Just have fun with the bags.

Hi - this is our first Disney cruise so the FE was new to me too! What I did was use the list on page 12 and I counted up the cabins. Then I added up how many men, ladies, teen guys, teen girls, younger guys and girls, and 3 yrs and under guys and girls. That way I kind of had an idea of how cabins and how many of each age group we have. Now I'm making up a "goodie bag" of small gifts to give to each couple or adult per cabin, and a goodie bag for each of the teens and younger kids. There are a lot of good ideas on the board for FE exchange gifts! My craftiness level is not real high but I did find some simple things that I was able to do. Just look on the board for FE gifts for lots of good ideas!

For the FE itself, it is the pocket holder type thing that you hang outside your cabin door on a hook that (I have heard) looks like a fish. That is what other FE members will put their gifts in for you! Again - check the boards for lots of ideas on how to make your own FE, which is what we did, or you can buy one already made.

The whole point is to spread some pixie dust by exchanging little gifts with each other. Our FE group signup will close at the end of the month (I think?) and then we will know exactly how many people have joined and how many goodie bags or gifts we need. We're having so much fun making ours!

Hi Deb! We don't have a little boy, but we will have our 6 yr old DGD with us! She is so excited to meet new friends too...I'm hoping she enjoys the kids clubs and activities.

EEK!! Time marches on!!! I am now starting to panic...my FEs are NOWHERE NEAR being done...let the madness begin! I'm soooo excited!!!

Bought a bunch of stuff the other day and finally broke the news to the hubs that I have to ship my stuff to the hotel...we'll be at Bay Lake Towers the week before the cruise, he thought I was insane. LOL!!

Hahahaha - my DH would think the same thing...actually he already does give me those kind of looks everytime he walks past the dining room table which is pretty much covered with FE things!

Welcome Jill - we are on the 6th deck too...actually quite a few people on our roll call are on the 6th deck! Hopefully we'll be having a get-together and get to meet everyone.

ive just finished our fish extender,
made quite alot of the the gifts and making more every week
we've got our wedding planner giving us a call today to go through everything and all the plans as it is just the 2 of us trying to make sure i dont forget anything,
cant wait now so excited and a bit nervous haha!!!
we've been told we are geting married on the day we are at nassau,
so glad we are taking part in the fe group as the gifts we receive we can keep as a reminder of our wedding on the disney cruise,
cant believe how fast it is going!!!!

We are planning on walking to the straw market, maybe the pirate museum - and getting back on the boat asap to enjoy the peace and quite I'm hoping to be back on board by early afternoon.

Welcome.
If you don't sew (or know anyone who does), you can try etsy to purchase one... or you can use something different to make one, since our cruise is coming up pretty quickly (yay!).
I've seen some people use just a bag, an ikea shoe holder, and i saw one made from a "pirate chest"... So it def doesn't have to look like the typical FE...
With the gifts.. you can give whatever you want and deliver them whenever you want. Some people get creative and make things and others buy gifts.
If you do a google search, you can find tons of ideas. You can also join the fish extender facebook page for even more ideas if you are on facebook.
