5:30 Napa Rose reservation after leaving Walt Disney Studios in Burbank at 1:30?

Hi there-
My wife and I are lucky enough to have scored a private tour of the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank. That tour ends at 1:30, and from there, we'll be heading down to check in at the Grand Californian. I was hoping to finish the day off at the Chef's counter at Napa Rose, and was wondering if we would have enough time to make the 5:30 seating without being rushed. The 8:30 would also be an option, but I'd prefer to make it an earlier night, so that we can be up for rope drop the next morning.

This will be on a Tuesday in June 2017. Does anybody have any experience that could help to guide the decision? Thanks so much!

You'll make it as long as you leave by 3pm. Any later and you start running into rush hour that will really slow things down. But I'd probably still go for the 8:30 reservation. Will there be a chance to shop at the studio store or anything else after the tour? What if the tour is slower than you think, you don't want to be watching the clock if it's 2:15 or something. If Napa Rose takes 2 hours, is getting back to the room at 11pm a late night? I guess it's a matter of personal preference, really.

No traffic, 1 hour drive...typical traffic, 1.5 hour drive...Friday traffic, possibly a 2 hour drive.

Leave Burbank by 2pm...5:30 reservation should be no problem especially since you are staying at the hotel.

I would not waste any time...but you should not be exceptionally rushed. Personally I would rather check in relaxed, shower, change...get a drink...then head for the later reservation but it can and a 2-2.5 hour experience.

You should be fine on time, but it's good to have live GPS directions to guide you. If you hit major traffic one way you have other routes available
