Nope in 5 years he had better take you on a "high end" cruise without the children. We are going on a Radisson Seven Seas Cruise - LUXERY.

Hmm... just looked at their website out of curiousity... they've got a 2-for-1 deal that leaves the day after my b-day.... to ME!!!!! ... and a bargain to boot!!! Who says I have to wait 5 more years??

Around here, DCL seems like a pretty high end cruise! That would be one problem with a luxury cruise. You'd have to go on more of them.

I figure an evening at V&A should approximate dinner at Palo. Sharon & Jim, have you ever eaten there? We need to pick a night, so I can try for reservations. Are weekends better? How about you, Karen, we could do Sunday June 5 maybe?

Around here, DCL seems like a pretty high end cruise! That would be one problem with a luxury cruise. You'd have to go on more of them.

Best for us would be Sunday 5/29. We would spend the weekend at WDW (after getting back from diving) and make a day or two out of it. Monday 5/30 is tough because we are back to work the next morning.

Sunday 6/5 would be a good second. I'm just not sure where the kids are that weekend. Sometimes we have to deliver them on Sunday's for the week, but we should be able to do run them around on and still make it for dinner. We won't know on that until it get's closer.

Don't worry about me... this is YOUR vacation- plan what works for you, and if we can do it, great. (Hope that didn't sound smarta**... I didn't mean it to.)

If Ray's schedule 4 weeks before the July race is anything like 4 weeks before the upcoming race, I will be in the middle of 'pseudo-single-mom' syndrome again!!! (He DID pick up the kids tonight... I had a meeting... but he's back at work now... even though he left the house at 6:AM)

I think he is refering to the fact that I tend to schedule the kids for various camps etc and Jim doesn't know if either child has any commitments at this point. June is pretty open at this point, so we should be fine. July however is another matter - that is pretty well booked.
