Note to self: pack the reading glasses.

U-top with my reading glasses!

I haven't been the eye doctor in several years. I called yesterday to make an appointment. I thought it was time when I found myself wearing Sharon's reading glasses while I was running so I could read my running computer.

Pretty soon I'll be checking into a new bi-focal mask so I can read my dive computer. Actually, that is why I bought Matt the same kind I have. He can hold his out for me so I can read his. :rotfl2: It's just hard to say "back up Matt I can't read your computer" underwater.

2) We have taken them once when we traveled with my in-laws. They worked ok. Not great. Best advice is that if you have ones that have multiple channels that would work best. Otherwise you might be hearing everyone else conversation that is using one. We found after that one trip that we really don't need them. Wipe boards in the room work best.

We agree. We don't take them anymore and have just gone to leaving notes in the room. If the kids are in the clubs it is almost impossible for them to hear it. It also does not work in the Rain Forest because I always turn it off.

Right. You are going to leave the boards to get some chores done. :rotfl2:

Maybe you do something important like laundry.

Have the laundry in...gave the boy an order to go get me the snorkel bag so that I can add the new sunscreen and make sure that it's ready...but he's on the couch with his dad, watching an old movie.

Scubas or Pug family: we need the name and address of a place to buy liquor along the east coast that will have Banfi. Preferably under $20 a bottle! We are driving up to Daytona Beach on Friday from Vero Beach and want to stop somewhere. We have memberships at Sam's Club and Costco, but not BJ's. Thanks!

Just tell me how many you want and they will be waiting for you. It's easier for me just to pick them up for you.

For an interesting place to buy wine in Port Orange/Daytona Beach, check out the Wine Warehouse. It is on US-1 just north of Dunlawton Ave. They have been known to have Banfi there for $17 a bottle, but there supplies are always changing.

I'll do the same for others who are coming to JB's.

I'll make a Banfi run before JB's.

;) ;) They're batting...see??

:rotfl2: :rotfl:

Jay says he feels guilty enough sitting on the couch doing nothing....doesn't want to add to it by sitting here too.

I don't feel guilty...do you guys feel guilty??? :rolleyes1
This is my sanity.

Here comes the snorkel bag...better go.........

I think I remember Palo's coffee being good but then the brain is getting a bit rusty around the edges :lmao:

DCL coffee review:

If I remember correctly, DCL uses the Nescafe concentrate system. This produces about the best produced coffee around -- far better than the urn (add a few letters and you get its taste) percolator style. I did not mind drinking it with dessert.

The espresso at Palo and the coffee shop are passible, but not memorable. They use supe-auotmatic machines that will give consistantly "good" espresso but will never compare to a manual machine with an experianced barista.

Monica always gives me a hard time when we go out since I will always try the coffee/espresso even though "You know you are not going to be happy with it........"
