Hmm... Doing half a doc dance. Jim's and Erin's stuff came today, but not mine. Jim called DCL (he actually picked up the phone!) and was told that mine were sent separately. Hopefully mine will be here tomorrow. I don't want to have to stay home alone!

Ours documents are 1 book with lime green luggage tags also (no character tags anymore??? )

Did anyone look at the reboard time for Cozumel? - it says 11:00pm - guess we'll have to take a few secords to double check the navigator before the mad dash to the 1st tender...

Hopefully they still have them when we disembark

Hey guys I thought should post an update for you all. I know Garry has been quiet on the boards lately, but I thought many of you would like to know.

Yesterday we really didn't know what the news was, the nurse left a message with Gregg the DS - why would anyone ever leave an important message with a kid (ok - teen- even worse)
The message was "went in front of team, will talk to insurance about placement". After 20 minutes on hold the staff had left for the day and no one was going to be available today b/c they are having a conference at U of M for the transplant team. I left several messages with others just in case they werent at the conference.
Got 3 calls back today - They were able to clarify the message for me. They did present Garrys case, they have forwarded all of the test information to the insurance for pre-approval, should have answer within couple of days. Once approval is received, he is on the list. I guess they don't get insurance approval until after they have the team approval for listing. We will let you all know what we hear when we hear it.

UPS didn't even need a signature....I don't like that. If we had left for this baseball game a little earlier, we would've missed it. Gotta go to a ballgame now. Talk to you later.

Hey Amanda, I say we all rebook for summer 2008. I think that will be the next time we can go ... assuming that we fall in love with it like all of y'all have. Then we'll have another 2 years to keep chatting.

I've been thinking the exact same thing.......... I know the standard answer is "Book another cruise"...but it's not the same.........

We have ours booked already it helps to some extent but it always sucks to have a cruise end

I actually had some fun today. NO...we didn't get our Docs, and I can guarantee you, ours WILL be last...they always are!

Anyway....and this may only end up being funny to me......
We got a letter in the mail today. Some company made an offer to buy the property that we have our cabin on. No, it isn't for sale....
The letter says "We are prepared to offer you, IN CASH, $5200.00 for the above mentioned 35.2 acres of land".

Whooo-weeeee. A whole whopping $5200.00 ! I couldn't fax them back fast enough!


My reply?

"Three years ago, we purchased this property for $300,000, and you want us to sell it for FIVE THOUSAND?! That's the funniest thing we've heard all week - maybe all year!! Let us know if you find someone dumb enough to sell 35 acres of land for $5000. We'd be interested in buying!"

Holy cow....I laughed til I cried.

Some people are so foolish they think we are all fools like them

We just got a letter from our county assessors saying they have reassed our house for taxes at $150 000 more than last years assessment which was really high!!!!

I put up the newest version of the navigator list that has all the corrections sent in. Thanks to those who checked and thanks to the people who told me about one typo they caught of someone else's since I never did hear from that person.

Yes, we are still cruising!! We were upgraded to 6580 (cat 6, I think?)yeah!!!
It has a verandah, so I am on !!!

3 Weeks and I can't wait!!

I woke up with a migraine, took some tabs and went back to slep after putting in a load of laundry, got up got showered and went to DS baseball game, missed the top of the first inning but was glad I was there as both his teachers (who are both Ms. Smith's) came to watch him play.
