Bottom line... I was told the body count is met and there are only 11 cabins left on the whole ship. This is the most crowded sailing I have ever been on. Anyone else ever sailed on a full ship? pirate: I have heard it really dosen't feel full.... :teeth:

I'm pretty sure the one we were on last year was full, and no, it didn't feel overly crowded. Never had a problem finding a deck chair near the pool, never had to wait too long for anything, always had plenty of personal space (and no, not just on our varandah). So I think it'll be fine. :sunny:

Mulan II :confused3 must have missed that one somewhere - A direct to video - I assume? How is it?

Direct to video. And I couldn't tell you how it was because I was Dis-ing through it. From what I saw, it wasn't nearly as good as the original. But never fear... It's Tivo'd in two places in our house, and no doubt I'll be tortured through it at some point this weekend.

I was rooting for you to get an upgrade. I had checked into it awhile back myself and the difference in cost will be a whole other cruise for us!!! YIKES!! Don't worry about your stateroom though. First, unless you're sick or having a miserable time (not gonna happen!) you won't be in your room much anyway! And they're really quite nice actually. So no worries, OK? :cloud9:

Yeah, we put that one to the test last year when Jim fought a very painful dental infection while we were on the cruise. For the first half of the trip, he barely left the stateroom. I did say, though, that if you have to be sick, there are worse places to be holed up than in a stateroom with a verandah and that VIEW!

bringing the expert in on this case. Mike was a DJ at the roller rink in high school.....

Jared's game was pretty interesting tonight.
(snip)

Jay came home from his games and was really sorry he'd missed the whole thing.

I'm so glad that LISA didn't come out to play!!! :) It's one thing for the coaches to get heated up (which sounds like they overdid it,) but when the parents start acting like that it's just shameful.

You are in trouble now. I'm telling on you!

I'm not scared of you. I have my dad's Wildberry Shiraz and Raspberry Ice Wine that I'm bringing on the cruise to let you try. You won't be TOOOO mean to me or else you know I won't let you try it! :rotfl2:

:confused3 organ music?? maybe i'm missing something. I was up late DISing so that's possible. :)

Good morning all! Looks like I have lots of catching up to do from last night. Today will be a very busy day for us. Bruce has already left to go run a 5K. The girls have swimming lessons and it's the spring carnival at the elem. school today. Time for me to go get cleaned up then start cleaning this filthy house! Try to keep the chattin' to a minimum ... please.

Good Morning, All!

Out of curiosity, I calculated the number of posts from yesterday. Ron started the day at 12:01 waaayy back on page 2579 and Amanda finished at 11:12 on p 2609.

449 posts!!!

Miss a day, miss alot!!!

And why did I do this at 6:50 on a Saturday a.m. when I haven't had my coffee.... :confused3 :confused3

That's what I deserve trying to be funny without coffee - not thinking that most people would have had real music at theirs...

Sorry, our roller rink was an an older rink, it played organ music..

Those were the 'good old days'!! Especially during the Disco era when they'd play a song like Stayin' Alive on the organ!!!! :rotfl2:

Oh, wow. No Mike played pop music. Back when they did it with albums/records/LP's....probably now they all hook up an iPod and play it that way! :)

little known fact.....Mike's mom and dad skated competitively.
add that to the fact that his grandparent's were both circus people and it's no WONDER that KT is the quintisential (sp?) performer. She was dancing around the garage yesterday singing into one of the rockets from Nick's stomp rocket set. I swear she could have passed for cruise staff the way she was singing and dancing. Of course we had cruise music playing on the CD player, so that helped create the image. :)

Ok, I found a MUCH easier way to find out where I left off.
I made a link in my tool bar that takes me right to the cruise meet page. And then all I have to do is click the little arrow that is just to the left of the title of our thread, and that takes me to my first unread post. Of course, this assumes that our thread doesn't slip too far down the page to make searching hard.....although just finding our posts by the "post count" column makes it easy since no one else is in the 39,000 range!

I DID have my user CP as my home page, but then I'd click on "last page" and I'd have to keep clicking back to find my way.

Maybe a combination of the two systems will prove helpful. :)

Glad to know I wasn't the only one - notice I said it was an older rink - not that we're old or anything...

Ha! You don't really think that's possible with this group, do you? :lmao::lmao::lmao:

BTW, Erin's super excited to meet Emily. She's already talking about her "new friend," looked up Georgia on the map, and is now even MORE excited about going on the trip. (I didn't think that was even possible!)
