All caught up...now I have to run.....

Angie..you are way too creative! And I really don't want to see what John comes up with, his will probably be astounding.

COACH...thank you!! Love the Cookbook! I wonder if we're the first DIS group to have ever done a cookbook???

See you after the haircut.

Stacey, posts picture of the new 'do.

Thank you all for being so welcoming on this board! We're stressed because Disney travel couldn't book us on a direct flight and we've got a horrendous connection-layover in Atlanta, about four hours. Upshot is we probably won't be on board in time to make the sailaway gathering on Deck 11.

We are SO disappointed esp DS, 12, because we were looking forward to meeting everyone. Will there be other opportunities for all the group to get together? And does anyone know how to pick up the Blabbermouth ID buttons, if not at the Deck 11 event?

So sorry to hear that you have bad connections, but cheer up....You will have a wonderful 7 day cruise.......We had a meet with far fewer people at 3:00 and there was not time to say Hi to everyone anyway. We had more fun with spotting bracelets throughout the cruise - like you will when you spot the bttons......

Checking in at lunch time before I pick up the car for service.

Another cruise related item can be checked off the list...

Yes, I know it needs doing, cruise or no cruise, but it is fun it is cruise related.

Thanks for the cookbook Ray. I got hungry glancing through it!

I'm supposed to be cleaning..........I was distracted by the doorbell :goodvibes

Bye for now

My original thought was to take all the recipes he got and make it all 'nice' with cool Disney graphics, etc, and turn it into a PDF before sending it out... but, in all reality with just 16 days til we sail... that wasn't gonna happen!!! So... all of you creative people... take those door sign images, insert them into your cookbook, and voila!!! There you go.

Obviously I will have to leave that one to the others! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

It's that dam PONY EXPRESS, I tell ya! If she's having DCL send them, that means I won't get them. Our system here is a mess. Oh well. Drinks are on me!

Phew! Our Documents arrived this morning!!! Got the Mickey Green luggage tags :woohoo: Our "booklet" only contains the Important Messages (all the legal stuff!). We got a letter thanking us for completing our cruise forms through their "online process" (we did that AGES ago!!!) and reminding us to bring the Online Check-In Signature Form with us.

Oh, and our TA sent along a little tote bag - yeah, like I'm gonna advertise THEIR agency for y'all :lmao:

:dancer: <<< Here's my dance! This is the only time I'll ever use him, I promise!!

:woohoo:

Hey everyone...sorry I have been MIA....We had bad bad stroms come thru yesterday and we had no power for awhile...

OK, I will admit that we don't have documents yet either. Stacey, we may be joining you on deck 9 to hand out drink cups.

Kevin was just asking me something about tickets. I said, it's OK, we don't really need the documents if they don't arrive. Except he was asking about RECITAL tickets. Yes, we do need those.

I dropped Emily off at school this morning. There are probably 4 trailers sitting in the yard. Sad that a school that is only 2 years old has already outgrown its capacity. :sad2:

I went back later for a mother's breakfast in the classroom. I sort of felt out of place. All of the other mom's were dressed in their Sunday best. There I was in blue jeans. As programmers that NEVER see customers, we're very casual. I RARELY dress up. And, somehow I felt like I'm the only working mom. I was at a table of 4 and I was the only one that worked.

Does someone have a cruise on her mind??? ;)

Mark & Mary,

I think I'm going to "run" with the newspaper door sign that I posted this morning. Can I steal some of the write-up about Scoopie that you have on the Personal Navigator?

Angie,

It amazes me that there isn't better planning. The Atlanta area is growing so quickly, maybe they just CAN'T keep up :confused3 but it is frustrating.

As far as feeling out of place: You're pulling "Double Duty" - holding down a job outside the home PLUS the work you do raising a family -- you're entitled to dress ANY WAY YOU WANT!! :thumbsup2 (and be *proud* of it too!)

DS has his end-of-school band concert tonight. At the last one, I 'dressed up' (dress pants, blouse), but most of the other parents were in jeans and sweats! Granted, it is a farming community, but dh and I'll be 'dressed up' again tonight, also. I know all about the programmer's wardrobe. I didn't have to buy any casual clothes when I was laid off; already had the outfits :thumbsup2 . I had to buy some 'nicer' clothes to go to work at the library, but can still wear jeans.
