Whew. Set the kids up with a video so I could go in the basement and exercise. Instead I came here, ate too many fritos and got a milestone!!

OM, I think you killed that thread. They didn't know what else to say after that pic. Stacey, your pictures looked pretty funny, but they are still small!

Bruschetta: buy Pane' or Panetta bread, slice it real thin, top with mozarella (marinated mozarella is REALLY good), then with bottled Bruschetta (they sell it everywhere now); broil until the cheese is melted and the bread starts to brown. Eat.

See? You don't need no stinkin' recipe!

And here is Rosie's Bruschetta recipe:

Mix together a couple cans of diced tomatoes, lots of fresh basil, onion, minced garlic, diced motz cheese, lots of italian seasons, black pepper, parsley, lots of olive oil.

Put it on what ever you want, we use grilled portabella mushrooms, salmon, shrimp, and heat until the cheese is melted.

We're towards the end of season 3. I bought a set, now we can watch it at our leisure. It's tough, because we all like it, so we all three have to be here when we watch it!

Recently we started watching Firefly from Netflix. It's also a Josh Whedon show, kind of a cowboy science fiction show, you would love it! It was only on for one season though.

Diana, I made the picture of Donald playing the piano bigger. I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. I decided not to make the one of my dad bigger, it was just not flattering! But I will probably go back and enlarge the one from Megan's wedding...it's much better when you can see the look on Megan & Pete's faces!

Now that's the one I really wanted to see! Jay really believes in embarrassing the kids, no? Please tell him not to give Kevin any ideas, he's got plenty of his own.

Rosie is the chef that Mike and I have taken cooking lessons from.

He always puts it on italian bread which is sprays with oil, toasts, and then tops with bruschetta. If you don't toast the bread first it will get soggy.

We don't do many carbs so we are always changing things around.

Funny you should mention that! I was just asking a coworker about that show yeaterday and if she liked the follow up movie Serenity! She said the writing is very similar. I love how Joss puts these one liners in the middle of an action scene or emotional scene...I love it!
