Getting close to the milestone post but it's time for me to go pick up the girls. Hopefully I'll survive another night of being a single mom. I'll probably check in later after Idol.

I agree with this Mary. I didn't do our online check-in until late April. I was waiting on our passports before I filled it out. So I probably didn't fill ours out until after they were printed.

Fits for us....Our docs were mailed by DCL to T/A last Tuesday -- We did on-line check-in this Sunday. We have a full set - and printed the 8 page form as well...ho hum..

Read an article on organization that says we now all have more paper due to computers.....isn't this backwards?

I ordered in on Friday, got the confirmation that he would ship on Monday (yesterday). Don't know where the guy is located, so your guess is as good as mine. Have heard great things about it prior to John recommendation, but after what John said, I ordered it. You better get cracking, we don't have much time.....

Well, I just ordered it. It says that he's in PA. Hopefully, by the end of the week, I'll have it all nice and markable in real "book form"!!

I'll have to read fast though!!

Status of milestone

After I took Jared to baseball practice and Jordan to dance, I came home and the house was nice & quiet. So I decided to lay down on the couch and rest. I took off my tennis shoes and glasses, and put my glasses in one of my shoes. That's so I wouldn't stand up, forget, and step on them.
When Jay got home, I got up...and couldn't find my glasses. I shook my shoes, looked on the coffee table, end table and the kitchen counter.
Then it dawned on me.
I went out in the backyard where the dog takes all of his "stash".
Yep...there they were, right on top of his pile of toys!

And not a scratch on them...not even any dog slobber.

Too cute! That was a close one though!

Man....Nick finished Math today. He finished Grammar, Usage and Mechanics (GUM.) He finished Literature. He finished Science. He has a little History left and some Spelling.

KT is about 2 lessons (and a novel reading) away from finishing Literature. She's got about 5 lessons left in Math. She's done with GUM and Vocab. Could stop spelling at anytime.

So they are ALMOST done with the bulk of the school that *I* do with them.

And today my 7 boxes came from K12 and there in the hall sits NEXT year's work. Sigh....just when I was feeling good about FINISHING!!!

OK. I have over 30 pages to read!!! I don't think I will ever catch up! I don't have anytime anymore for some reason. It probably has something to do with my PILS living here now. Boy, I didn't think it would change my routine a whole lot, but was I ever wrong! I feel guilty if I want to sit down and type on the computer. I feel like I should be doing laundry or dishes or floors or or or. Get the picture! I come home yesterday and she had cleaned up and rearranged my laundry room. What is that all about!?!?! I love her dearly, but I am afraid that she won't like me very much if she stays here too long, because it will become apparent that I like to ...... waste time and watch tv and read and compute! ACKK. What am I going to do?

I understand though...when my parents come down for a weekend the whole routine changes. I feel like I have to entertain them the entire time and sit and talk or play games. When sometimes what we all need to do is just go to our own rooms and stare at a screen.
