Ok, I must DEFINITELY not be a coffee snob b/c I think DCL's coffee is my favorite. Maybe the atmosphere has something to do with it. :)

I just KNOW this is going to make a couple of people on here GASP :earseek:

I think I remember Palo's coffee being good but then the brain is getting a bit rusty around the edges :lmao:

Anybody staying here. We will be there but not till 11pm on Friday night.

Is there a chapel or mass services onboard? We are catholic. THanks for letting me know.

TinyTink :confused3

One thing I would suggest, from our recent cruise, is to make sure you take a couple of highlighters of different colors. We highlighted what Frances and I wanted to do, what Lauren to do, and what we all did together. Made it very easy to glance at then.

I do that too, we sit together and highlight what everyone plans on doing, we don't always do them but at least can see at a glance what was planned.

Yesterday afternoon we were to have 2 families over. One mom called yesterday morning and said that she had been throwing up all night and said that no one in their family would come. I thanked her. The bad thing was that a little girl from the other family spent the night at their house. I sat my girls down on the sofa and told them that they were NOT to pick up and drink out of a juice box that they weren't certain was theirs.

We had a great time. The weather was nice - kids played outside & ran around the yard. Bruce grilled. The adults sat around & had some adult beverages.

BTW ... Julia, hope Adam is feeling better. Karen, hope KT is feeling better too.

Ang

He is feeling better today, never threw up again, he had a party at jump zone this morning and was fine and has been busy and playing all afternoon.
Thanks

You mean working outside of the house is supposed to make me LESS of a scatterbrain????

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Nope... in the house, out of the house, its all the same!!! We're all in the same boat... (literally... in 20 days... woo hoo!... oh wait... not a boat... a ship... but the idiom's not as funny that way...)

DH just told me if I don't start doing all the things I need to do I will be 'missing the boat' :teeth: :sad2: :furious:

Right. You are going to leave the boards to get some chores done. :rotfl2:

Maybe you do something important like laundry.

They were on my list... but I have another packing question, actually, 2... not having cruised DCL before...

1. Do they have the usual retractable clotheslines in the showers like other cruise lines and most hotels have??? (For those of us WITHOUT a veranda who need a place to dry stuff...)

2. Has anybody in this crowd ever REALLY used 2-way radios on board (no... I'm not trying to start one of the general cruise board flame-throwing debates)... we have a good set that the kids use for miles all over the neighborhood... I've read that the DO work on board and that they DON'T... (I know the whole 'the ship is metal'... technical blah-blah blah...) but I've heard both... so... anyone?

DH seems to think there is one over the tub :thumbsup2

Wait....I'm just catching up since Thursday and am reading backwards.

Did Jay actually post? Did the earth stop turning? It must be some miracle.

If he did I'm sure it was just a few word post. :rotfl2:

Guess I'll have to read and find out.

DIS BOARD Question.....

"Someone" is thinking that they might like to say hello on here. We need to set up a new name, etc. Been so long, I forgot how to do it.

HELP!!!

You can't mean Jay? We might go into shock! Sorry, I can't remember how to do it either. Bet Mary or Mark can help.

Some have gotten docs - some haven't. We still don't have the official word on the different nights and may not until we get on board......

Virgil
pirate:

Sharon just checked the docs we just received and there is nothing in there about what night is what.

Basically it is just the luggage tags and contract.

That post from Jay might be the biggest laugh I've had in a while. Jay!!! Come baaaaack!!!!
