For most of mine I roast just a few seconds into second crack. For a Yemen I will go more for a rolling second.

I am seriuosly thinking of bringing my small grinder and press pot and a couple of piunds of beans. I have 1.5# of Kona + soome central american (Nicaragua and Brazil) and a littel yemean and ethiopian left - anything you want to rry?
Yummmm!! Coffee good!! Haven't had any Kona for a few years!

It's all good!! I don't think I can afford any spare equipment after packing two sets of scuba gear....... But I can bring some Tanzania beans!

Ok, I looked over all of the coffee roasting information. And, while it LOOKS interesting, I'm not sure I'm up for it. Smoke, smell, loud noises, must do it outside or in a garage....
is it REALLY that much better? We USUALLY get really good coffee here from a coffee shop (get Starbucks if we aren't in Stauf's area of town) It's not like we're drinking Folger's Crystals. I have Starbucks for my espresso machine.

I mean, really, how GOOD is this fresh roasted coffee??
Tell her Jim!!

It's like most things. If you don't know, you won't know any different. ONCE you try it, there is no going back. Kind of like drinking crappy beer..... :confused3

Great post John!!

Some really tips and suggestions there!! I totally agree with all of them! I think I went through most of those steps in just that way too..... :rolleyes1

Hi everyone we will be on this cruise with all of you.... me and DH and DD and DS plus my sister in law and her family and my inlaws....See you then...

Welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!:welcome:

Mary,

I sent you an e-mail with our new room number (due to the upgrade). I'm so excited. We were talking last week that we would probably go to the 7th floor by mistake since that is where we had cruised the last 3 times. Now we will be on the correct floor. I don't know when they changed it. I had just checked the web site last week and it still had our old room number.

:woohoo: :yay: :bounce:

Susan

Very happy! This will probably be our last Disney cruise since our son will be 18 soon. He still wants to go again, but doesn't want to risk not getting in the teen club. Last trip some 18 year olds were allowed to hang out with them. They were all nice kids. It is a shame Disney doesn't have anything for the 18-20 year old group.

So we are very happy to have the verandah.

I think, and could be wrong, it's because at 18 DCL considers them to be young adults, and expects them to be interested in the adult programming?

WELCOME to the club. I am pretty new at this too. We can learn together.

Mark, But they can't go to the adult programming at night until they are 21. There is really nothing for them to do but go to the movie in the Buena Vista theatre after about 9:30 p.m. That's the problem between 18-20.

That's why I said think, I don't know for sure, and after looking couldn't find anything saying anything about it at all. Mary's got the docs tucked away someplace.

I finally caught up after all those pages. Been busy making Birthday cake for DD's 13th one today. So now I can sleep and dream of a massage on the cruise. Then later catch up on the next 30 pages I am behind. Good night/morning whatever. :sad2:

Dost my eyes deceive me??? Is that BBB??? WELCOME BACK.

If you can't keep up with us HERE, you MIGHT not be able to keep up with us on the ship..... it's pretty much the same except our fingers don't get bloody from typing so much!!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You're eyes do not deceive you. LOL

Oh I'll be able to keep up on the ship- the question is if you'll be able to keep up with me! That's quite different than trying to keep up with a super sonic fast posting thread. I'm like busy- getting ready for a cruise- yanno?

Hiya right back atcha dizneprincess!!

So we ARE supposed to get docs? When should we get them? I ask because I thought we didn't need them because we can do it all online and print out but now I read on this thread today that someone got theirs and had like luggage tags and such? um, we need that right? LOL

Jordan's show was really good. I was honestly impressed with the whole thing. She goes to a really small studio, and usually their productions aren't much to write home about, but this time, everything was top-notch. The costumes were especially impressive.

My pictures were all taken from too far back, but they had a professional photographer there before the show, so hopefully we'll have a couple of good ones of Jordan that I can post.

Heading for bed...I'm beat....

Jordan and Amber after the show:

These are the two girls that I am going to ask all of you to keep an eye on. Especially since we never got those Teen GPS Tracking Bracelets made!
