Are you trying to give me a heart attack, or get me divorced??

That one is PERFECT. BUT....(you had to know I'd come up with a but)....it's twice as expensive.

Here's my problem. I spent a lot of money on the 35mm SeaLife. Unless I can sell it, I shouldn't even be looking at a digital.
But....I saw the Pentax in Costco's magazine (see, this is ALL Costco's fault!)...and it's tiny, and seemed like a good idea for a second camera. And because it doesn't have a case, it seemed like it would be good for carrying around...not as much "stuff".
Remember, I still have my Canon for nice land pictures.

This is frustrating. I should just use my SeaLife and shut up.

Sorry, you're a bit late. The constipation discussion was about a week ago! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

And speaking of which (seeing as I'm the one that had the constipation issues - well, not me, but... oh, nevermind...), I have an update on Erin, for anyone who's interested.

Just as the urologist predicted, it took just a few days for the meds to kick in, and Erin has been accident and leak free since Monday. To say we're relieved would be a huge understatement. It's lifted a lot of stress off of us, too, and it's so nice to see her coming home in the same outfit as she wore to school in the morning.

So, although our docs haven't arrived here yet, we're still doing a happy-dance!

Great... another utop focused on bodily functions...

Ok cool! Is that the same thing as SNUBA? It loks cool! Was it worth it and more importantly do you have pics from your tour? Did Mary do this too? It looks pretty neat...but I dont know how I would feel with that big ole helmut on my head...did it feel claustrophobic at all??

No clausterphobia here, was very comfortable. Mary and I both did it, she even kept her glasses on. We had a fun time. With the drowned camera we only got the one pic they took of us, no different than the one up on the site.

It's a bit different from Snuba, With snuba, you wear a mask, breathe with a regulator like on a regular dive, but you're all attached by an air hose to the surface. They offered that there too. http://www.coralworldvi.com/snuba.shtml

Love the word choice!!! :) :lmao:

YIPPIE!! Glad they are working. Now she just needs some time to grow. I'm sure, self-esteem wise, that coming home in the same outfit will do wonders for her too!! :) p.s. I still love her haircut and am still trying to convince KT to go back to her bob. :)

Oy, I hadn't thought of the word thing. Whoops...

Surprisingly, Erin was never upset about the accidents. But she is SO happy about the change. Yeah!!!!

As for the haircut, Erin's decided she wants to let it grow. I don't think it will look good past her shoulders (it's baby fine, like mine, but straight), but agreed to let her grow it through the summer. She did get a cut this past weekend though, to trim up the ends. The woman who did it cut the bangs a bit too short, but that just means they'll be perfect by the time we go away!

Ah, I went through the "grow my hair out" stage too. That's why I understand KT a bit (although, a lot of times, not very much) :lmao:

And I look back on those pictures and think "WHAT WAS I THINKING????" Long hair just did NOT go with my shape face. Then again, I'm not sure my current cut does either, but I'm going for "easy" not "beautiful" :)

Ok, now that Survivor is over, I'm off to watch it, sans commercials. Love my Tivo!

Yes. Mistake #1 we made on our first cruise --we did not pack jeans or sweatshirts. We just could not be out on the outer decks after dark. It was just too cold and windy. Brrrr.

I have been on at least half a dozen cruises, this one being the latest in the year and the furthest south, yet I have NEVER brought jeans or a sweatshirt on a cruise!!!

I LOVE going to my parents house in the summer and being sung to sleep by the bullfrogs. Maybe I should get a few for the pool. Hmmmm..... :confused3 :lmao:
We have MORE than a few that we can send you!!! Our retention pond has a whole chior of them!!!!!!!

Diana,

I hope you are having a fantastic birthday! pixiedust: :bday: :cake:
Yeah... what she said! I was DISing during my boring meeting today, but its easier to read than it is to type... besides, I was trying to LOOK like I was paying attention (better than the guy next to me who was sleeping)

But if I have to buy the first round..well I will leave that up to KIKIPUG, she booked this trip

and A UTOP with my DW buying a round of drinks
If that's the case, it will be the first round at JB's... I'll be sure to throw a keg in the back of my car when I leave work that afternoon...

Awww... thanks... you're giving me a toothache... is it a dinner date? Can we have Pot Roast?

There... now I think I'm caught up. Had a mini-meet tonight... but no pix... Scuba & Matt went to the charity event that my company was sponsoring tonight... its a Wild Game Feast... the rednecks come out of the woodwork for it! (I work in a VERY rural area...) This is "THE" event of the year... everyone breaks out their best fishing shirts for this one! :rotfl:

I hear you on the "easy over beautiful" thing. I decided to stop fighting my curly hair two years ago. Does it look fantastic? No. But it's easier to deal with. Now if I could only find products that work consistantly... Oh, that's another board I read.

That's the business I was in for 13 years before Budweiser... if you can't find something that works, PM me, and I can give you some suggestions... there's no one thing that works for everyone, but there's lots of good stuff out there!

Geee... ummm.... could it be that you live so dang close to WDW that they ACTUALLY WALK THE STUFF TO YOUR HOUSE and hand it to you? LOL...

What can I say..the Mouse likes us better than you....... :confused3

Glad you all enjoyed hearing about my pre-historic lunch. Now that the drugs have kicked in for the sinus infection and not having any caffeine today, I realize, now, that it's a pre-hispanic lunch :thumbsup2 .

I'll defer final judgement to the divers, but I have had these recommeded to me before. For around $350 you could get a nikon coolpix and one of these housings

http://www.fantasea.com/product_catagory.asp?catagory=housings&referer=

Cool. Cool Pix. heh heh heh. Well, I could get the housing for the Pentax that I already have....I think. I have the Pentax Optio 330GS...and the housing says Optio 330. Another problem, I guess...not knowing for sure if that housing works with the 330GS.
I don't know how I get myself into these messes. I should just stick with my Sealife.
