I'll defer final judgement to the divers, but I have had these recommeded to me before. For around $350 you could get a nikon coolpix and one of these housings

Now THAT is a nice camera.

We had its predecessor on the 10-day, which according to following their instructions and not my instincts, ruined it on the St Thomas day. They kept insisting do not use any kind of lubricant on the o-ring. When we went to do Sea Trekkin at Coral World, when I got to the bottom, it started leaking, and got too much water in it and ruined it. I opened it later and found the oring had rolled when closing, something a touch of lube would probably have prevented. I also didn't leak check it back on the ship that am, I should have.

Now that whole accident said, it took great underwater pictures on the previous excursions. I'll see if I can find some later.

bwahahaha tooo funny! I missed that totally! Now I did have a great comeback for hte tastes like chicken line for the beach.....something to do with fish...but I thought it might be pushing the line too much so I kept it to myself and chuckled inwardly

Ok cool! Is that the same thing as SNUBA? It loks cool! Was it worth it and more importantly do you have pics from your tour? Did Mary do this too? It looks pretty neat...but I dont know how I would feel with that big ole helmut on my head...did it feel claustrophobic at all??
