hey everyone..sorry to be MIA..went to DBs again in FLA...got back in late last night...did not get to tell the kids about the trip...will do so this weekend for sure, just gotta come up with some good clues for a scavenger hunt throughout the houe...any ideas? Also I fixed our thread to correctly read 6 weeks. My coworker is headed out on the Mariner of The Seas this weekend, and I have been trying to prepare her for that as well, only I have never cruised RCCL so it is a little tougher, AND she only has DIAL up so I cant point her in the direction of Cruise critis either..

We all know HH is in a peanut butter cookie induced coma.

Sir Scuba is sulking.

Stacey is packing her last 3 items.

Coachpug is digging out his 5 favorite recipes.

I don't want to hear excuses....I want to see posting!!! We'll never make it to 142 gazillion by cruise time at this rate!!!!

All I have left to do on my neighbor's baby's birth announcement is personalize it....name, birthdate, weight....then I'll post a picture. It's pretty cute!

Alicia has been wanting to see "She's the Man" and we finally made it today. Second choice was "The Wild", but I told her I'm pretty sure she can see that on the ship. Yes, she's 15, really. But she's a Disney kid.

Despite the sentimentatal avourite being PC 2 - I think WILD will be the movie on the ship.....unless it is CARS?????

I'm a geek,....I have a comb binder!

So if someone wants to collect the recipes and publish them, they can send me the file and I can print it and comb bind them all.

weird, I know, but it's been SOOOOOOO helpful with school!

I have had fried pickle and fried stuffed olives!!!! not tried fried green tomatoes

Never had fried stuffed olives....but I like fried green tomotoes as well as fried pickles...where - oh - where was the last place I had fried pickles....think, think????????

I would be willing to collect the recipes and put them together in some sort of order...So if people want to start emailing them to me, I will put them together and OM can comb bind them......if we are good and fast maybe before cruise time..1 book per family, send me your 5 best recipes!!! try to mix them between appetizers, entrees and desserts!!! email in word to raypugsy@earthlink.net

Any limitations - original ones, easy ones, gourmet one, ones we have adapted, or good ole Betty Crocker???

Well, I am home now. Had to run Ashley up to Target to get new pencils and special snacks to take to school tomorrow. State Testing (TAKS) starts tomorrow. We decided to take it easy tonight and no swimming so she can relax and get to bed early. Dale starts his at the high school tomorrow and they run through Friday. Some days he doesn't have to go to school until noon. Tomorrow is an all day for him and then an orchestra practice after school. I am always so relieved for the kids once the testing is over. They put so much pressure on them to do well.
