My Steve DOES NOT do needles...He will get a tooth filled without any pain meds becasue he will not take the shot. When we were first married he broke his hand, and when it was time for the DR to set it he would not take the shot. I have tried to explain to him many times taht those pains were way worse than the shots, but he wont listen! I cant even imagine getting a tooth filled and drilled on without number upper!

NO WAY would I ever do any kind of repairs oral or otherwise without some pain medication ever again. When I was a kid, the dentist I my parents took me to was a sadist. I'm not kidding, he enjoyed inflicting pain on kids. Once my parents and others figured out what was going on, he didn't remain a dentist for very long. That experience really made it a priority for me to make sure it's done right now. Though I do now have a much higher tolerance for pain than I really should.

I did peek in from the ball field but got "the look" from Jay....and we weren't anywhere close to the milestone. I checked back not even a half hour later, and you all were 8 posts past it!

I know the feeling. Same thing happened to me!

Congrats to Kiki & Sandi on the milestone posts last night! We were busy STUFFING our faces with boiled crawfish & crabs ... YUMMY! My parents are so good to us.

I can't believe we sail next month. Thanks for pointing that our Mary.

Mornin' all! Wow... 8 weeks to go! Yippee! (Of course, still have those pounds to lose...)

We did some work on our vacation this morning. We decided to cancel the AKL reservations in favor of something less expensive. Unfortunately, though, Jim pointed out that we're used to pretty high level hotels, which typically don't equate with budget conscious. After a dizzying couple of hours of research (couldn't sleep again), I'd narrowed it down to 3, but Jim then decided on the Onmi. Around $150 less a night and the pool looks amazing (let's face it - that's the important part, right?), complete with a "river" to tube on. Cool!

Now we just need to do the rental car, and I THINK we'll be all set.

Today we're heading to NYC to see the circus. Should be fun. I can't remember the last time I went to one. Erin's completely excited.

No nut trees in this family!

We have a Maple, Poplar, and Elm. Some things in there seem right, but not all of it. It's certainly true that Kevin doesn't like to take orders, but I am not a "good organizer" in general (good at trips and events, though!). Alicia is pretty close on the Maple, but is certainly NOT shy and reserved. Sort of like horoscopes, I guess.
