Very nice! My friend makes those...I have one for Jordan and for Jared.

Holy Cow! NINE POUNDS NINE OUNCES? Ouch.

Speaking of ouch......the Cruise/Holmes baby arrived. It's a girl named Suri. Where do these people get these names? Anyway, inquiring minds want to know if she remained silent.

Yeah, 9 lbs. 9 oz. which explains why she labored for a long time and then had a C-section. She's a pretty tiny girl to begin with!!

Inquiring minds also want to know if he ate the placenta (with a side of fava beans and a nice Chianti) :lmao:

That's exactly what I was thinking... my largest was 7 lb 6 oz, and that was bad enough!!!!!

Yeah, KT was 5#9oz (which, ironically, was MY exact birth weight and I was the BIGGEST of my mom's 4 kids)

Nick was 6#8oz (or something like that....I don't have to remember...he was the second baby!)

Cool, a U TOP with kikiKaren and my peanut children!!

I read online that she was 'fitted with a special pacifier to keep her from making noise'. THAT would be the day!!!!!! I would have showed him where he could stick it!!!

Did y'all see that Brooke Shields had her baby on the same day?

One of mine was 7 lbs. 12 oz. & the other was 7 lbs. 6 oz. I didn't have drugs or an epidural with either one.

Funny you should say that... from the day I was born, our pediatrician called me 'peanut' because I was 4 lbs when I was born... (2 months preemie)...

:tink: pixiedust: for everyone.

Our dog - I prefer to call him my baby ended up on Easter Sunday in insulin shock. He was diagnosed in early Feb with diabetes. Go figure, until then I had not heard of a dog with diabetes. Thanks to Sue and her wisdom, Cody spent Easter in an emergency pet hospital till Monday morning. Sue strongly suggested that Cody go with us to visit a sister in PA for the day. Had Cody not been with us, the outlook would have much different. He was really ill. We picked him up on Monday in PA and took him to his vet. He seems to be stable right now.

The moral of the story...... if Sue suggests something, I am running with it.

The good news is that Cody has lost 23 lbs - a 1/4 of his body weight. He was 125 lbs. now 102. He is in great shape for a yellow lab.

I hope everyone is having a good day.

Not only is this how I feel but also how I look....

I have received some recipes, so I will start putting those together. I have a SPAM filter on my email, so everyone will receive a message that I need to add you to my address book, which I will do as I get the recipes...
So THAT'S the trouble!

What's the matter Monty, don't you like SPAM????? :rotfl2:

Speaking of dogs....Liz was.....here's my dog who thinks he's a cat:

Sitting on the end table in the living room. I thought only cats climbed on the furniture. But then, all our other dogs were big, outdoor dogs...so what do I know??

Maybe I could send a Spam recipe. I'm certain Jay has a few. I, on the other hand, and quite proud that I've never even tasted the stuff. It's embarrassing enough to have to go to the store and buy it for him.

I'm going to TRY! Bruce & I have Palo ressies for Mon. night. I've been talking about it a lot. From what I understand from others, Ashley will at least be in the same big room with Emily although not in the same group. Both girls are really shy even though they've been both in a day care environment since they were 12 weeks old ... but that's their comfort zone. We RARELY do anything without them so neither is used to a sitter. We'll just play it by and see how it goes. If she hates it, we won't make her stay ... other than for us to have dinner at Palo.

Are you on early or late dining? We're early.

Ang

We have late dining. We have the same problem; he is used to preschool, but not used to sitters other than grandparents. We have been fortunate, but now they are all moving away from us. Hmmm, maybe we used them too much! :lmao: Not really, not even once a month. MIL calls us when she wants them.

Kid weights:

Megan..... 8 lbs 13.5 oz... 20.25" ...two weeks overdue, stupid doctor....never went back to him

Jordan.....7 lbs 13.5 oz....19".... two weeks early

Jared.... 8lbs 5 oz... 21"...almost two months early...imagine what he would have weighed full term!

Thank goodness, all three were C-Sections.

I will not eat it anywhere.
I would not, could not, in the rain.
Not in the dark. Not on a train.
Not in a car. Not in a tree.
I do not like it, Kevin, you see.
